With Kevin Durant (ankle) unavailable and Bradley Beal ineffective in his first game back from a hamstring injury, Booker was left to shoulder most of the offensive workload on Friday. He was excellent, shooting over 50 percent from the field and only committing two turnovers in his 38 minutes on the floor. Turnovers have been one of Booker’s issues recently, as he’s averaged 3.8 per game over the past two weeks. Friday’s performance was much-needed, and he’ll look to end Week 22 on a high note when the Suns visit the Knicks on Sunday.

Ighodaro made his fourth start of the season and first since March 21, replacing the inconsistent Nick Richards. The rookie had a solid night in Beantown, hitting double figures in scoring for the first time since March 14. Richards played 14 minutes off the bench, finishing with four points, seven rebounds and one steal. While Ighodaro did not set the world on fire with his performance, he likely did enough to hold the job for Sunday’s game against the Knicks. If Mike Budenholzer agrees, he’ll be worth streaming for Sunday’s game against the Knicks.

After missing Tuesday’s loss to the Bucks due to an illness, O’Neale returned on Friday and filled the void in the starting lineup left by Kevin Durant (ankle). The veteran wing did much of what’s expected, providing points, rebounds and three-pointers. While those who streamed O’Neale would have liked to get a steal or two out of him, the overall line was solid. He should get another start on Sunday when the Suns visit the Knicks.

The good news for Phoenix was that Beal could play 30 minutes without issue in his first appearance since March 16. The bad news was that he looked incredibly rusty against the reigning champs, missing all seven field goal attempts. Beal gave fantasy managers decent value in the assist and steals categories, but overall, this was a rough night. He’ll look to rebound on Sunday when the Suns visit the Knicks.

The most notable change to the Suns’ lineup is Beal, who is back after missing time with a hamstring injury. His return pushes Collin Gillespie to the bench. Also in the lineup are O’Neale and Ighodaro, who replace Grayson Allen and Nick Richards. O’Neale is a safer streaming option than Ighodaro, but the rookie is worth a look when allowed to start.

Randle had scored at least 25 points in each of his last three games entering play Thursday but was quiet on the offensive end in this one. The 30-year-old power forward had just 11 points on 11 attempts including three made three-pointers. Beal had missed the last eight games for the Suns, while O’Neale had only missed one game. Collin Gillespie had been starting in place of Beal, but with Kevin Durant (ankle) sidelined, he may remain in the starting lineup. Beal has missed Phoenix’s last eight games, last seeing action March 16 against the Lakers. His return would coincide with Kevin Durant’s continued absence, with KD set to miss a few more games with a sprained ankle. O’Neale was a late addition to the Suns’ injury report for Tuesday’s game in Milwaukee, which he was ultimately ruled out of. It was a slow start to the game for Edwards, but things started clicking for him late in the game. He scored 13 points in the fourth quarter, including a pair of triples with less than three minutes left in regulation that gave Minnesota a late lead. He added six more points in the first overtime period and five more in the second, which was enough for the Timberwolves to squeak out a road win over the Nuggets. After a few recent subpar performances, it was good to see Edwards catch fire at the end of the game, and he’ll look to carry that into Brooklyn on Thursday.

Randle had the ball with a chance to win this game at the end of the fourth quarter and the first overtime, but he wasn’t able to get the job done. Fortunately for him, Minnesota was still able to walk away victorious, and Randle did still have another productive night. NAW was Minnesota’s primary reserve option on Tuesday, with Donte DiVincenzo and Naz Reid serving suspensions. He came up big for them late, hitting multiple big shots and finally winning the game after being fouled on a three-pointer with 0.1 seconds left in the game. He made the first two and missed the final shot intentionally to end the game. This was a new season-high for scoring for NAW, and he approached triple-double territory. Unfortunately, with both DiVincenzo and Reid coming back, he likely won’t see 45 minutes in another game anytime soon.

With both Donte DiVincenzo and Naz Reid serving their suspension for their involvement in the brawl with the Pistons, head coach Chris Finch turned to Minott for reserve minutes. The 22-year-old has struggled to carve out a role in Minnesota, but he took advantage of his opportunity on Tuesday. Minott isn’t a player to consider rostering in redraft leagues, but dynasty managers that have had him stashed for a long time have to be encouraged by this performance in limited minutes.

This was Gillespie’s eighth-straight game in the starting lineup, and after scoring just three points on Sunday, he was more effective on Tuesday, though the result was the same. Phoenix dropped a fourth-straight game despite Gillespie having a better night. He did most of his work in the first half, scoring 11 points before the break. With both Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal unavailable, Booker shouldered the offensive workload for Phoenix in this game. This was his highest-scoring double-double since he went off for 47 points and 11 assists in a win over the Jazz in early February. With Durant still expected to miss a few more games and Beal’s status unknown, Booker will continue to provide a ridiculous amount of points and assists. Unfortunately, their next four games are against the Celtics, Knicks, Warriors and Thunder, which means no easy matchups for Booker to feast on. The Suns currently sit 1.5 games out of the Play-In Tournament.

He took advantage of the extra minutes, especially in the second half. 17 of his 23 points and five of his six three-pointers came after halftime, though it wasn’t enough for Phoenix to get the win.
