After logging 23 minutes off the bench in Saturday’s loss to the Lakers, Williams is dealing with a sore right knee. His absence would likely lead to more playing time for Ryan Nembhard, who played only four minutes against the Lakers. D’Angelo Russell may also see some action after picking up a DNP-CD.

Thompson only played 14 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Lakers, the least he’s played in a game since New Year’s Day. Flagg played 34 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Lakers, and this is the first back-to-back for the Mavericks since the rookie missed two games with a sprained left ankle. Add in Dallas having to travel to Milwaukee, and it makes sense that he would be unlikely to play on Sunday. No Flagg would further enhance Naji Marshall’s fantasy value; he’s worth adding regardless of what happens with the rookie’s availability.

Williams doesn’t offer much in the way of defensive production, which limits his fantasy ceiling just as much as coming off the bench does. However, being on a standard deal gives him a clear edge over Ryan Nembhard, who only played four minutes Saturday night and is still on a two-way contract. Fully trusting Williams in fantasy leagues right now is challenging, but that may change after the All-Star break.

While Flagg couldn’t get much done scoring-wise, he still offered solid value in the rebound, assist and steal categories. The biggest issue for the rookie in category leagues recently has been the foul line, with Flagg making 61.9 percent of his attempts over the past two weeks. With Dallas visiting a Milwaukee squad that won’t have the injured Giannis Antetokounmpo on Sunday, it would be unsurprising if Flagg finished Week 14 with a flourish.

Rostered in 39 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Marshall has been a fantasy stud recently. Providing third-round value in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks, the Mavericks’ wing recorded his first double-double of the season in Saturday’s defeat. Christie left Saturday’s game during the third quarter but was able to return after a short period in the locker room. The Mavericks’ guard finished with his fourth consecutive 20-point game, and he should be rostered in a higher percentage of Yahoo! leagues. With the Mavericks facing the Bucks on Sunday, now’s a good time to pick him up.

On a day when Mikal Bridges (9/3/4 with one three-pointer) and Miles McBride (9/1/2/2 with one three-pointer) combined to shoot 2-of-17 from beyond the arc, Shamet gave the Knicks excellent minutes off the bench. This is the first time he’s reached double figures in consecutive games since returning from a shoulder injury that sidelined him for 25 games. Shamet isn’t worth rostering when the Knicks are whole, but the last two games were a step in the right direction.

While not a prolific scorer, Hart’s ability to fill a stat line makes him highly valuable to category league managers. After totaling 14 points on 5-of-12 shooting in his prior two appearances, Anunoby snapped out of his mini-slump in a big way on Saturday. Shooting 66.7 percent from the field, the Knicks’ wing was a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Anunoby’s production helped compensate for Karl-Anthony Towns’ (10/6/1/0/1 with one three-pointer) poor afternoon, as he played 16 minutes before fouling out. After dropping their first two meetings with the 76ers, both at home, the Knicks picked up a vital victory on Saturday. Brunson led the way offensively, recording his 18th 30-point game of the season. His fantasy value has taken a hit recently, with his decreased scoring the culprit. Brunson doesn’t bring much value in the defensive categories, making offensive production that much more important in category leagues.

Wednesday went as well as it could have for Brunson and the Knicks, who entered their game with the Nets 2-9 in their last 11 games. Two significant issues became apparent for the Knicks early in Monday’s game: they couldn’t run Max Christie off the line, and they couldn’t keep Marshall out of the paint.
