Quickley had to exit Toronto’s regular-season finale due to tightness in his right hamstring, and the injury has been diagnosed as a strain. Ja’Kobe Walter was the replacement the last time that Quickley was the lone unavailable starter for the Raptors, and that may be the case for Game 1. Another candidate to fill the potential void is Jamal Shead.

In the regular season finale, Barnes put up his third triple-double of the season, which was his first since December. That was enough to get the win for the Raptors and push them up to the No. 5 seed in the East, which sets them up to take on the Cavaliers in round one. Barnes has been incredible this season and has been a big reason for Toronto’s success. They’ll need him at his best to have a chance to pull the upset against Cleveland.

Barrett was back for the season finale following a one-game absence with a knee injury. He was able to have a strong performance offensively, leading Toronto in scoring. Barrett has been solid to wrap up the regular season, and they’ll need him to be at his best against Cleveland in the first round. He’ll continue to be one of their top scoring options, and his production may end up being more vital than usual if Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) ends up missing time.

Ingram’s first regular season with the Raptors ended on a high note. Over the final four games, he averaged 25.5 points while shooting 57.8 percent from the floor. That was enough to lead Toronto to the fifth seed in the East, which sets them with a first-round matchup against the Cavaliers. Ingram played in 77 games this season, which was the most he played in since his rookie year. They’ll need him at his best to defeat Cleveland.

Having fallen out of the Knicks’ rotation recently, Alvarado started Sunday’s regular-season finale and logged 34 minutes. Acquired from the Pelicans at a time when the Knicks were shorthanded on the perimeter, his opportunities may be limited during the playoffs. That said, Alvarado does not need much time to be a nuisance on the defensive end of the floor, so there may still be a role for him in the Knicks’ first-round series against the Hawks.

Among the players expected to be in the Knicks’ postseason rotation, McBride was one of the few to play credible minutes on Sunday. And to the delight of head coach Mike Brown and his staff, Deuce looked sharp in his 24 minutes on the court. Given the amount of time he missed following sports hernia surgery, that’s more important than the stat line that he recorded. The Knicks will face the Hawks in the first round, which begins next weekend.

Quickley playing limited minutes on the final day of the regular season is unsurprising. However, he’s done for the rest of the night due to tightness in his right hamstring, which is not good news heading into the playoffs. Quickley recently returned to action after missing time with a foot injury, so this is another lower-body issue for him to deal with. Jamal Shead started the third quarter.

Barnes did not record any defensive stats against the Knicks, marking two consecutive games without a steal or a blocked shot. With the Raptors’ forward being among the league leaders in combined steals and blocks, fantasy managers in active leagues certainly expected more from Barnes. While Ingram shot just over 50 percent from the field, he missed all four of his free-throw attempts in an underwhelming showing in New York. Towns recorded his league-leading 55th double-double of the season on Thursday, and he did so on 50 percent shooting from the field. Against the Celtics, KAT appeared to have a better feel for when to pop for jumpers and when to attack the basket in the two-man game, especially with Jalen Brunson. One game removed from recording a 30-point double-double in a win over the Hawks, Brunson recorded his third double-double in as many games on Thursday. Over his last three games, the Knicks’ point guard has been responsible for 34 assists and six turnovers. While Brunson is a more than capable scorer, the Knicks are at their best offensively when everyone plays a part in the action. If the Celtics were going to give up anything defensively on Thursday, it was going to be Josh Hart’s three-point attempts. Unfortunately for Boston, the strategy backfired, as he shot 5-of-7 from beyond the arc, including two fourth-quarter daggers. The 26 points were the most in a game for Hart since he scored 33 in a March 17 win over the Pacers. Boston wasn’t the first time to take that defensive approach with Hart, and they won’t be the last. And if he can make teams pay consistently, his and the Knicks’ ceilings will be raised.

Barrett has scored at least 20 points in five of his last seven games. Against the Heat, his final stat line only lacked a blocked shot, and a 9-of-10 night from the foul line helped boost the point total. Having scored 14 points or less in four straight games, Barnes snapped out of his slump on Tuesday. The 25 points were the most in a game for the All-Star forward since February 8, when he hit that number in a win over the Pacers.
