Poeltl, who has not appeared in a game since December, has been plagued by a lower back injury since training camp. With the 7-footer going through practice on Saturday, there’s a chance that he plays on Sunday against the Pacers. Given the time that Poeltl has missed, conditioning is a concern. While his return would mean fewer minutes for Collin Murray-Boyles and Sandro Mamukelashvili, Poeltl is unlikely to take on a full workload immediately.

All that was missing from Murray-Boyles’ stat line on Thursday was a three-pointer, and that isn’t a category where he usually provides value. The rookie forward/center did appear to tweak his left thumb during the victory, but he remained in the game. Afterward, Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic said that the protective wrap will stay on Murray-Boyles’ left thumb for another five weeks. The only concern for fantasy managers is what happens when Jakob Poeltl (back) returns, as he could be back before the All-Star break. CMB and Sandro Mamukelasvhili (17/5/1/3/1 with four three-pointers) will continue to have added fantasy value until that time comes.

The 57th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, Jackson-Davis’ playing time decreased in each of his three seasons with the Warriors. He was essentially passed in the rotation by Quinten Post, a second-round pick in the 2024 draft. Jackson-Davis appeared in 36 games this season, averaging 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds in 11.1 minutes. This transaction is unlikely to affect fantasy basketball, as the Raptors added a frontcourt player in last summer’s draft lottery (Collin Murray-Boyles) and in free agency (Sandro Mamukelashvili). Bane’s contributions on the offensive end played a big factor in Orlando ending its four-game losing streak on Wednesday. He made shots efficiently from behind the three-point line as well as inside it, while his contributions as a passer led him to finish as one of the Magic’s leaders in assists on the evening. Black was exceptional on Wednesday evening against the Heat. Offensively, he shot the ball with great accuracy, leading him to finish as one of three Magic players to score at least 20 points. Black had a fairly balanced performance in Monday’s rematch with the Cavaliers. In 37 minutes, he was impactful on the defensive end and totaled four stocks, while inefficient shooting from beyond the arc limited his scoring production. Still, the third-year guard out of Arkansas finished as one of three Orlando players to score in double figures, and he was one of the team’s best passers in the loss.
