The 76ers have secured the fifth-best odds in next month’s draft lottery, increasing the likelihood that they’ll hold onto their top-six protected first-round pick. Sunday’s result won’t change that, which may increase Grimes’s chances of playing. To say he’s likely earned himself some money ahead of restricted free agency with his play over the past month would be an understatement. As for Edwards, he’s also played well when available, with the 76ers converting him to a standard contract just before the All-Star break.

While the call appeared soft, Ant-Man is subject to a one-game suspension unless the league overturns the call. That knocked Edwards off his stride for the rest of the night as he struggled to get going offensively. The good news for the Timberwolves is that they play the Jazz on Sunday, and that should be an easy matchup with Utah focused on improving its draft lottery odds. But no Edwards, if the technical foul is not overturned, certainly hurts for fantasy managers in active leagues.

This was one of Butler’s best performances of the season, and it ended up being his highest-scoring game as a 76er. He scored 26 points in January when he was with the Wizards, which actually came against the 76ers. Butler has been an excellent fantasy option during the final few weeks of the last few seasons, but he hasn’t been able to find a situation where he can play a significant role early on. That is unlikely to change with Philadelphia next season, but he should play a ton in the season finale against Chicago on Sunday.

Bagley entered Friday’s game having made just one of his 21 attempts from beyond the arc this season. However, he found his shot in this game, even if it didn’t result in a win. The younger brother of former No. 2 overall pick Marvin Bagley, Marcus has gotten to start the last three games for the 76ers and will finish out the season on his second 10-day contract for them. He will likely spend next season back in the G League, where he has played well for the 76ers’ affiliate over the last two seasons.

Across Castleton’s first four games with the 76ers, he only scored a total of 14 games. He surpassed that mark in this game alone. Castleton had some solid games while playing on 10-day contracts for Toronto in March, but this performance featured a new season-high for scoring. Following the game, Castleton agreed to a standard contract with the Raptors. He will return to Toronto and could be available for their season finale in San Antonio on Sunday.

As has been the case throughout the last month, Grimes again shouldered a significant amount of the offensive workload for the 76ers. The good news for fantasy managers is this has not negatively impacted Grimes’ efficiency, most recently shooting over 50 percent from the field on Saturday. Over the past month, he has provided top-25 value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Grimes will be a restricted free agent this summer, and his play has likely driven up the price he’ll command in July.

After three straight games of 25 points or more, Randle scored 26 in his last two appearances, shooting a combined 9-of-22 from the field. However, despite the downtick in scoring, he has remained an eighth-round player in nine-cat formats over the past week. Randle has provided solid value in the rebound and assist categories, thus preserving some of his fantasy value. The Timberwolves don’t play again until Tuesday when they visit the Bucks.

The veteran center recorded another elite stat line, eclipsing 21 points and 18 rebounds for the second straight games. The “Stifle Tower” also recorded five “stocks.” Over the past two weeks, Gobert has provided top-20 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Gobert managers whose leagues are not finished are likely happy that he’ll have four games to play during Week 23.

Edwards was outstanding on Saturday, as the undermanned 76ers had no answer for him defensively. The Timberwolves star woke up the Philadelphia crowd early in the first quarter with one of the dunks of the season. And his three-pointer late in the fourth quarter as the shot clock expired sent everyone to the exits. The 37 points are the most for Edwards since March 17, when he scored 38 in a loss to the Pacers. For fantasy managers whose seasons run through Week 23, the Timberwolves play four games, starting with the Bucks on Tuesday.

This was a significant improvement over his last appearance; he was held to just one point in 30 minutes in a blowout loss to the Heat. This was his third time scoring at least 20 points since the All-Star break, with all three coming in his last six appearances. Yabusele, who is set to be a free agent this summer, will have plenty of interested teams looking to add him to their rotation.

This was his 11th time scoring at least 20 points in his last 12 appearances, and it was his second point-assist double-double during this stretch. He’ll continue to be an elite fantasy option for the remainder of this season, but he is a difficult player to project heading into next year. He’ll be a restricted free agent this summer, and if he remains with Philadelphia, it’s unclear where he will fit into the rotation with Tyrese Maxey, Jared McCain, Paul George and a potential top-six pick in the mix.

In this game, he shattered his previous career-high of 16 points, which he initially set a few weeks ago. The 22-year-old has thrived in a lost season for Philadelphia, and it has come on both ends of the floor; this was his fifth-straight game with at least three blocks. It’s difficult to imagine Bona playing a significant role next season, though it will depend on Joel Embiid’s availability.

Maxey has not appeared in a game since March 3. While he was initially dealing with back and finger injuries, the latter is why the 76ers guard will not play again this season. According to Charania, Maxey is still experiencing discomfort in his finger and needs further treatment. What was not reported is the possibility of Maxey undergoing offseason surgery to address the issue. Maxey exceeded his Yahoo! ADP (26) in eight- and nine-cat formats, appearing in 52 games. However, the 76ers rarely had their “big three” on the court together, as Joel Embiid and Paul George were also limited due to injuries. This is the first season in which Maxey has failed to play at least 60 games, so fantasy managers should not be too concerned heading into drafts in the fall.

Embiid was ruled out for the rest of the 2024-25 season on February 28, as a lingering left knee issue limited him to 19 games. He’ll undergo an arthroscopic procedure next week, and Charania also reports that Embiid will be evaluated in six weeks afterward. At that point, there should be more clarity regarding how intensive his rehab will be and how long the process may take. Due to his injury history, it will be challenging to justify selecting Embiid with a top-50 pick in standard league drafts in the fall.

It was a slow start to the game for Edwards, but things started clicking for him late in the game. He scored 13 points in the fourth quarter, including a pair of triples with less than three minutes left in regulation that gave Minnesota a late lead. He added six more points in the first overtime period and five more in the second, which was enough for the Timberwolves to squeak out a road win over the Nuggets. Randle has been on fire recently, and Tuesday was his third-straight game with at least 25 points. Randle had the ball with a chance to win this game at the end of the fourth quarter and the first overtime, but he wasn’t able to get the job done. Fortunately for him, Minnesota was still able to walk away victorious, and Randle did still have another productive night. They are now tied for sixth place in the West and will head to Brooklyn on Thursday with a chance to overtake Memphis in the standings.

NAW was Minnesota’s primary reserve option on Tuesday, with Donte DiVincenzo and Naz Reid serving suspensions. He came up big for them late, hitting multiple big shots and finally winning the game after being fouled on a three-pointer with 0.1 seconds left in the game. He made the first two and missed the final shot intentionally to end the game. This was a new season-high for scoring for NAW, and he approached triple-double territory. Unfortunately, with both DiVincenzo and Reid coming back, he likely won’t see 45 minutes in another game anytime soon.

The 22-year-old has struggled to carve out a role in Minnesota, but he took advantage of his opportunity on Tuesday. Minott isn’t a player to consider rostering in redraft leagues, but dynasty managers that have had him stashed for a long time have to be encouraged by this performance in limited minutes.
