Embiid was ruled out for the rest of the 2024-25 season on February 28, as a lingering left knee issue limited him to 19 games. He’ll undergo an arthroscopic procedure next week, and Charania also reports that Embiid will be evaluated in six weeks afterward. At that point, there should be more clarity regarding how intensive his rehab will be and how long the process may take. Due to his injury history, it will be challenging to justify selecting Embiid with a top-50 pick in standard league drafts in the fall.

Tuesday’s game was the first for Lowry since February 9, as he missed nearly two months with a hip injury. The veteran guard did not provide much value beyond the two steals, missing his lone shot attempt on the night. There’s no need to roster Lowry at this point in the season, especially with the 76ers focused on doing all they can to hold onto their top-6 protected first-round pick.

Guerschon Yabusele’s absence on Tuesday led to Bona moving into the starting lineup, and the rookie center filled the stat sheet in 32 minutes played. The combination of rebounding and defensive stats has made Bona a solid fantasy asset as the season winds down. Over the past two weeks, he’s averaging 7.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 3.0 blocks per game. As a result, Bona has offered third-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Rostered in 28 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Bona is worth adding, even though the 76ers only play two more games during Week 22.

Playing against the franchise that selected him with the 21st overall pick in the 2021 draft, Grimes continued his excellent late-season run. The 76ers guard has scored 20 points or more in 10 of his last 11 appearances, providing top-15 per-game value in eight-cat formats over the past month. At this point, all that may stop Grimes would be the 76ers deciding to sit him for the rest of the season. However, with Philadelphia 4-26 in its last 30 games, the front office doesn’t need to do much more to improve the team’s draft lottery odds.

Outside of Jordan Poole, who scored a game-high 35 points, Vukcevic was the only Wizard to score in double figures on Monday. That is something he has done in seven of his last 10 appearances, though his inconsistent role has made him a difficult player to trust. Vukcevic is only 22 years old and has shown plenty of flashes over the past two seasons that should encourage dynasty managers that have him stashed. Washington has three more games this week, including a back-to-back on Wednesday and Thursday.

Simply put, Poole had no help in Monday’s game. The rest of the starting unit combined to score 29 points in the blowout loss. Poole got off to a quick start and score Washington’s first nine points of the game, but the score got out of hand quickly. The good news is that Poole was able to play 29 minutes after playing less than 25 minutes in four consecutive games. That isn’t something managers should expect to continue, since Washington hasn’t been shy about limiting his minutes to give their young players more minutes.

Yikes. March has been an excellent month for the rookie, but Sarr really struggled in his final game of the month. Field goal percentage hasn’t been a strong category for Sarr, but this performance was one of his worst and can only be rivaled by his 1-of-12 night in January. The rookie has shown plenty of upside in multiple categories, and he was still able to provide some defensive stats in this game. Still, the 19-year-old still has plenty of work to do before he becomes a fantasy star.

Lowry hasn’t suited up since February 9, but there is a chance that he returns to the lineup against New York. Lowry wasn’t playing a significant role prior to his injury, but the 76ers’ rotation looks entirely different now. It’s unclear what his role will look when he returns to the lineup.

Philadelphia has just seven games left in the season, and Walker IV is a guy who could see a major bump in playing time for that final stretch due to numerous and mounting injuries.

Edwards continues to produce for the 76ers, extending his streak of games with at least 17 points to seven. Over the last two weeks, the undrafted rookie has offered fourth-round value in nine-cat formats. Edwards is rostered in 40 percent of Yahoo! leagues, so standard league managers have not been asleep at the wheel. But there are still spots where he can be found. Even with Philadelphia playing three games during Week 22, now is an excellent time for managers competing for league titles to add Edwards.

Before Saturday’s game, it was reported that Andre Drummond (toe) would miss at least another five games. That put him out of play for Week 22, which boosts Bona’s fantasy value. The rookie was very productive against the Heat, recording his second double-double and blocking three shots for the second straight game. Rostered in 12 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Bona has provided top 50 value in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. Despite the 76ers playing three games during Week 22, now is the time to add Bona.

The Wizards continue to limit Poole’s minutes. In a game Washington lost by just three points, the 25-year-old shooting guard played only 21 minutes. It was his seventh game in a row with less than 30 minutes played. This has become a nightmare for fantasy managers and not one they’re likely to wake up from before this season is over.

Johnson made a spot start for the injured Khris Middleton. Fantasy managers that used the 20-year-old shooting guard as a streamer in deeper formats have to be pleased with his effort. Johnson had 20 points on 14 shots including three made three-pointers. He played a team-high 42 minutes. It’s unclear if Johnson will have staying power as it depends on how Middleton recovers from his injury.

It appears that he is on track to play against Miami on Saturday, which would likely take away minutes from Ricky Council IV. It is also worth noting that Tyrese Maxey, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Andre Drummond were all partial participants in practice, but there still isn’t a timeline for their return. At this point, is anyone expecting them to play again this season? Philly is in a tight race at the top of the lottery, and they’re trying to stay in the top six to avoid their pick going to the Thunder. Playing anyone that is going to help them win games would be counterproductive.

Poole played just 25 minutes again Thursday. It was his sixth-straight game with less than 30 minutes and fourth in that span with 25 minutes or less. While the Wizards clearly aren’t pushing Poole for heavy minutes at this point in the season, they at least had good reason for his usage on Thursday as they were party to a massive blowout. Poole had a pretty good game considering the Wizards lost by 53 points. Unfortunately for Poole, it doesn’t seem like his minutes will trend back up in what’s left of the season.

Sarr has scored at least 22 points with at least seven rebounds, at least one block and at least one steal in each of his last two games. While the Wizards are looking towards the future, Sarr is making a statement that he’s going to be a big part of it. The 19-year-old center has been just outside the top-100 in fantasy value since the All-Star break as his play has picked of late.

The good news for fantasy managers is that Yabusele plays quality minutes. However, those who may have hoped to see him log 30 minutes or more consistently may be disappointed. He’s played 29 or fewer in four of his last five appearances, as it’s probably in Philadelphia’s best interest to go with younger (and less proven) players the rest of the way. Adem Bona (six points, six rebounds, three assists and three blocks) played 23 minutes off the bench. While he did tweak his ankle during the second half of Wednesday’s defeat, the rookie remained in the game. His playing time will likely increase with the 76ers looking toward the future and increasing the likelihood that they’ll hold onto their top-six protected lottery pick.
