Left hip inflammation will keep Kennard out of Sunday’s game after logging 24 minutes in Saturday’s win over the Pelicans. Kennard, who played 24 minutes in Saturday’s win over the Pelicans, is dealing with left hip inflammation. Johnson came up one assist shy of a triple-double as he helped the Hawks snap a two-game losing streak by dismantling a free-falling Pelicans squad. He ripped off nine straight points during a 15–4 second-quarter surge that pushed Atlanta into a double-digit halftime lead. The 23-year-old rising star has delivered first-round fantasy value so far, averaging 22 points, 9.7 boards, 6.7 assists and 1.7 steals through 15 games. Porziņģis eclipsed the lofty 30-point plateau for the first time in his Hawks debut and continues to remind everyone that, when healthy, he’s one of the league’s most uniquely impactful two-way centers thanks to his three-point range and rim-protecting prowess. The 30-year-old, who has been dealing with a lingering knee issue recently, caught fire in the second quarter, hitting five of six shots and scoring half his total during that burst. He remains the ultimate X-factor for Atlanta’s intriguing young core — the kind of matchup-warping piece who can swing an entire playoff series come spring.

Krejčí provided some serious punch off the bench for Atlanta as they picked up another impressive road win, knocking down seven of 10 from beyond the arc. The 25-year-old three-point specialist is shooting an unreal 50 percent from distance on nearly six treys per-game through 13 games. He won’t sustain that sublime rate for long but he’s clearly one of the deadlier heat-check bench options in the game at this point.

Phoenix finished Friday’s game without 40 percent of their starting five, as Brooks and Devin Booker fouled out. That said, the latter was on the court for most of the team’s 9-0 run to end the game. Brooks continues to provide surprisingly efficient offensive production to supplement his defense, and he’s providing top-50 fantasy value in nine-cat formats. Bookeer’s teammates picked up the slack for him on Friday, as he had his least efficient game of the season. Worse than the field-goal percentage was the turnover count, with Booker racking up a season-high nine before fouling out. For the first time in two weeks, Williams has reached double figures in two consecutive games. On Friday, he was also effective as a rebounder, with eight caroms, the most he’s had in a game since November 6. Since that win over the Clippers, Williams endured a five-game stretch in which he averaged 10.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.0 blocks, which was suitable for top-75 value in nine-cat formats. That certainly isn’t bad, but Friday’s performance was a reminder that Williams is capable of more.

Johnson recorded his seventh double-double of the season on Thursday, finishing three assists shy of his second triple-double. Since Halloween, he has been a top-10 player in eight- and nine-cat formats, providing elite fantasy value when the Hawks play without Trae Young (knee). This was a third consecutive start for Okongwu due to the continued absence of Kristaps Porzingis with a knee sprain. He continues to be an effective scorer, averaging 26.7 points and 5.0 three-pointers per game during this three-game stretch. However, he was rendered ineffective on the glass in this one. Dyson Daniels, Jalen Johnson and Mouhamed Gueye made an impact as rebounders, so the Hawks weren’t dominated on the boards.
