Adams only logged 17 minutes in this game, but that was enough time for him to record his third double-double of the season. He was able to dominate down low, but also at the free throw line, which is typically a weakness for him. Adams is shooting a career-best 73.3 percent from the line after shooting 46.2 percent last year and 36.4 percent the year before. He’ll only be worth consistently streaming when Alperen Şengün is unavailable, but this was a strong performance for him.

Şengün didn’t supply his typical dose of rebounds and dimes, but he was unstoppable as a scorer. He only played 28 minutes in the blowout win, so he could’ve had a better outing if the game was closer. Houston will remain in Utah to take on the Jazz once again on Monday, so Şengün should have no issues having another big scoring night.

Sheppard moved into the starting lineup with Kevin Durant (personal) unavailable for two games, but with KD back, Sheppard remained a starter, with Josh Okogie returning to the bench. Sheppard played 31 minutes in the blowout win, and while he didn’t do much scoring, he was able to make a big impact on this game. Assuming Sheppard remains a starter, he should be a reliable option in fantasy hoops for the remainder of the season, with potential to be one of the best late-round picks this year.

Following a two-game absence, KD was able to get back on track after struggling in his last two appearances. He shot 11-of-33 across his last two games, but in this one, he shot above 70 percent for the third time this season. Durant will continue to be an elite fantasy basketball option, even if his numbers are slightly down from his typical output. Hopefully this efficient shooting night will help kickstart his offense and lead to a strong run. They’ll remain in Utah to take on the Jazz again on Monday.

Brooks has taken big strides as a scorer this season. He’s averaging career highs in points and field goal attempts while also enjoying the best field goal percentage of his career. His offensive growth has been pivotal in helping the Suns start 12-9 despite dealing with multiple injuries early on. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, Phoenix only has two games next week, which will limit how much Brooks can produce.

Allen missed the last seven games with a quad injury, but he was back in the lineup for this game. He immediately returned to the starting unit but only played 26 minutes, which will likely increase as he logs more games. His return bumped Collin Gillespie to the bench, though Gillespie still logged 29 minutes as a reserve. Gillespie clearly isn’t worth dropping, even if he is coming off the bench. As for Allen, it was good to see him back on the floor. His spot in the starting unit continues to be secure.

With Mark Williams (calf) sidelined for the second leg of the Suns’ back-to-back, Ighodaro slid into the starting unit. He also logged 32 minutes, while Nick Richards only saw seven minutes of game action. It wasn’t a monster game for Ighodaro, but he seems to currently be the No. 2 center option on the depth chart currently. If Williams were to miss an extended period of time, Ighodaro would be the pickup.

Adams missed the Rockets’ most recent contest, a win over the Warriors on November 26. Due to his absence, Clint Capela played 18 minutes off the bench. KD missed two games, but he’ll be back to take on Utah to close out the week. Reed Sheppard started in his place and played really well. He should return to playing a reserve role, though there is certainly a chance he played well enough to maintain the starting spot. For matchup purposes, Suns coach Jordan Ott ended up playing Oso Ighodaro for 22 minutes off the bench, which left 22 minutes for Williams and four for Nick Richards. Smith Jr. finished Wednesday as one of the Rockets’ leading scorers despite not shooting a great percentage. He did have success from the three-point line, but wasn’t able to land much production elsewhere. After tallying just seven points in a win over the Suns on Monday, Sheppard responded on Wednesday with his third 20-point game of the month, and first 30-point game of his young career. He was productive from beyond the arc and dazzled in the midrange, which led him to finish as Houston’s leading scorer on the evening. Booker struggled with his shot on Wednesday, shooting 4-of-13 from inside the arc. The good news for fantasy managers is that he provided solid value in the rebound and assist categories. Back in the starting lineup after missing Monday’s win over the Rockets, Williams had his best game since joining the Suns this offseason. Having provided solid fantasy value while coming off the bench, Gillespie was inserted into the Suns’ starting lineup on Wednesday. He had another excellent night, finishing with a season-high point total. Also, the nine assists were the most in a game for Gillespie since October 27, when he dished out a career-high 13. Şengün was outstanding on Wednesday, outplaying Cleveland’s tandem of Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen while recording his ninth double-double of the season. Durant was on the proverbial “struggle bus” Wednesday night, shooting poorly from the field and committing four turnovers.
