Gobert returned to the Timberwolves’ lineup after a 10-game absence, and, as expected, the veteran center was under a minutes restriction. The 7-foot-1 pivot only playing 20 minutes was good news for Naz Reid managers, as he tallied 20 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks and four three-pointers in 27 minutes off the bench. Reid’s fantasy value will be fine, especially if the Timberwolves are conservative with Gobert’s playing time.

While Randle’s scoring output was limited on Sunday, the rebounds and assists made up for it. He hit double digits in assists for the first time this season, and Randle’s production has increased in that category recently. Accounting for at least nine assists in three straight games, he’s averaged 7.2 per game since the All-Star break. By comparison, Randle is averaging 4.6 per game for the season. And since the break, he has been a fifth-round player in eight-cat formats.

On a night when eight Timberwolves scored in double figures, DiVincenzo shot 4-of-8 from beyond the arc and scored 17 points. He’s reached double figures in six straight games and has been a top-40 player in nine-cat formats since returning from a toe injury. DiVincenzo was a starter before his injury, but Timberwolves coach Chris Finch has decided to bring him off the bench. This approach has boosted Mike Conley’s fantasy value, as he has been an eighth-round player since February 27. Conley finished Sunday’s win with 13 points, five rebounds, five assists and three three-pointers in 23 minutes.

Edwards played well on a night when the Timberwolves shared the ball, as five players attempted between 10 and 15 shots. Before Sunday, the last time he needed fewer than 20 attempts to make 10 was December 8 against the Warriors. Since the All-Star break, Edwards has been a top 40 player in eight- and nine-cat formats, and he’s gotten the turnovers in check. Averaging 3.3 per game for the season, Edwards has that number down to 2.2 since the break.

Beal made good use of his opportunities on Sunday, but he’s the clear third option behind Devin Booker and Kevin Durant. That makes his efficiency even more critical, and Beal was good as both a scorer and playmaker on Sunday. He’s ranked just outside the top 75 in eight- and nine-cat formats since the All-Star break, and this may represent Beal’s ceiling for the rest of the season.

Since the All-Star break, Durant has failed to score 20 points or more on just two occasions. The Suns forward has maintained his elite season-long value by providing top-20 fantasy value in eight- and nine-cat formats. With the Suns still fighting to crack the West’s top 10, playing time won’t be an issue for the team’s stars down the stretch. Fantasy managers should get full value from Durant during the playoff weeks.

Booker got off to a slow start Sunday afternoon, scoring six points on 3-of-9 shooting during the first half. He was better after the intermission, finishing as one of three Suns with at least 19 points. While turnovers have been problematic for Booker since the All-Star break (3.4 per game), he only committed one against the Mavericks. The Suns play four games during Week 19, starting with the Grizzlies on Monday in Memphis.

After three consecutive games in which he scored just 17 points, Booker exploded on Friday night in Denver. He’s scored 30 points or more on three occasions since the All-Star break, but the assist production stands out. As one of the top 20 players in eight-cat formats, Booker has averaged 8.0 assists per game since the break. The decision to replace Tyus Jones with Bradley Beal has raised Booker’s fantasy ceiling, as he’s spending more time on the ball as a playmaker. And that has to please those who have him rostered heading into the fantasy playoffs.

Durant has scored 26 points or more in three straight and five of his last six outings. Included in Friday’s performance was a corner three at the buzzer to force overtime. Since the All-Star break, the 15-time All-Star has been a top 20 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. Durant has been a top-10 player in both formats this season, exceeding his Yahoo! ADP of 19. After aggravating a prior calf injury during Tuesday’s win over the Clippers, Beal offered limited value in Friday’s overtime defeat. While fantasy managers should be pleased with the nine assists, the point total was underwhelming. Beal’s availability meant less time on the court for Tyus Jones, who logged 14 minutes and finished with six points, one rebound, five assists, one steal and two three-pointers. Hopefully, for the sake of those who have Beal rostered, he can use Sunday’s game in Dallas as an opportunity to get back on track.

The Timberwolves reserves outscored their Heat counterparts by a 37-35 margin, with DiVincenzo and Nickeil Alexander-Walker (12 points, two rebounds, one steal, two blocks and three three-pointers) leading the way. Since returning from his toe injury, DiVincenzo has provided top-30 value in nine-cat formats. Whether he starts or comes off the bench, the Timberwolves guard will provide reliable fantasy value. No singular Timberwolves player stood out offensively on Friday, as seven players scored between 12 and 15 points. However, Reid continues to provide solid value with Rudy Gobert (back) out of the lineup. Since February 13 (Gobert last played on February 12), Reid has averaged 18.1 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 0.7 steals, 1.3 blocks and 2.7 three-pointers per game. Randle finished Friday’s win one assist shy of a triple-double, which would have been his first as a Timberwolves player. He was one of seven players to score between 12 and 15 points, as the balanced offensive effort was enough to get Minnesota its third straight road victory. Since returning to the lineup on March 2, Randle has been a sixth-round player in eight-cat formats (eighth-round in nine-cat). Phoenix trailed by 19 points entering the fourth quarter, and Durant only had 15 points. However, he nearly outscored the Clippers in the fourth to lead the Suns to a much-needed comeback win. Phoenix is now currently only three games out of the Play-In Tournament, but with Kyrie Irving (knee) done for the season, Dallas will likely fall out of that spot. 12 of Gillespie’s 15 minutes came in the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s win, and that’s when he made his mark. All of his stats except one assist came in the final frame as he helped the Suns outscore the Clippers 43-22 in the fourth. Gillespie took on a larger role after Bradley Beal (groin) exited early, and his heroics ended up giving Phoenix the win. Gillespie knocked down a massive three-pointer late in the fourth that gave them a five-point lead late that they never relinquished.
