Williamson shot a pedestrian 5-of-15 from the field, but he buoyed his scoring total by hitting 10-of-12 shots from the charity stripe. He’s shined since the All-Star break, appearing in six of seven games for New Orleans while averaging a healthy 26/7/6. He’ll be a fantasy force every time he’s on the court, so enjoy this while it lasts.

Murphy III got off to a blistering start, scoring 11 of New Orleans’ first 19 points. He opened the game by bullying Jalen Green for a monster jam and hitting a deep three-pointer. His offense quieted down a bit after that, but his hot start propelled him to a game-high point total. Expect he and Zion Williamson to lead the charge on offense every night for the shorthanded Pelicans.

Beal has been dealing with a calf injury for a few games, most recently needing to exit Tuesday’s win over the Clippers at halftime. His ability to practice on Thursday is encouraging, but that doesn’t guarantee Beal will be available for Friday’s game against the Nuggets. Tyus Jones would move into the starting lineup if Beal cannot play, and Collin Gillespie may pick up rotation minutes after helping spark the Suns’ rally on Tuesday.

Phoenix trailed by 19 points entering the fourth quarter, and Durant only had 15 points. However, he nearly outscored the Clippers in the fourth to lead the Suns to a much-needed comeback win. Phoenix is now currently only three games out of the Play-In Tournament, but with Kyrie Irving (knee) done for the season, Dallas will likely fall out of that spot. If Durant continues to play like this, Phoenix should be able to make the postseason despite an incredibly rough year from them. He’ll look to carry this momentum into a matchup in Denver on Friday.

12 of Gillespie’s 15 minutes came in the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s win, and that’s when he made his mark. All of his stats except one assist came in the final frame as he helped the Suns outscore the Clippers 43-22 in the fourth. Gillespie took on a larger role after Bradley Beal (groin) exited early, and his heroics ended up giving Phoenix the win. Gillespie knocked down a massive three-pointer late in the fourth that gave them a five-point lead late that they never relinquished. A performance like this could earn Gillespie more minutes, though he remains on a two-way contract, which makes him a risky player to roster.

The Bol Bol experience is full of ups and downs, and Tuesday’s game was a down. He only played nine minutes as a starter, and O’Neale started the second half in his place. It wouldn’t be surprising if that change continued against Denver on Friday O’Neale’s fantasy upside is limited, but when he gets the chance to play big minutes, he can pour in the points from beyond the arc. Unfortunately, the Suns only have two more games this week, which will come on Friday and Sunday.

Regarding fantasy value, only Zion Williamson has been more productive than Murphy among Pelicans players since the All-Star break. While he did shoot 1-of-6 from three, Trey made 50 percent of his attempts from the field overall and provided solid value in the rebounds, assists and steals categories. Murphy has been ranked just outside the top-50 in eight-cat formats since the break, and his availability has not been a concern. That’s good news for fantasy managers, as the Pelicans will play three games in the final four days of Week 18.

Williamson was outstanding on Tuesday, surpassing the 30-point mark for the sixth time this season. He did so on efficient shooting, and fantasy managers likely benefitted from the six assists. Since the All-Star break, Williamson has provided top-50 value in eight-cat formats. If there’s a concern for fantasy managers, it’s that New Orleans ends Week 18 with a Saturday/Sunday back-to-back. Now would be a good time to plan for the likelihood of Williamson sitting out one of those games.

Beal returned to the Suns lineup after missing two games with a sore calf. He shot the ball well, but the overall impact was muted in Sunday’s 18-point defeat. Beal had provided solid value recently, ranking within the top-50 in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. However, availability remains a concern for the guard, who has already missed 19 games this season. Beal’s return pushed Tyus Jones to the bench, and he finished with 10 points, one rebound, one assist, one steal and two three-pointers in 17 minutes. Jones is worth holding onto in deep leagues, but standard league managers may want to seek alternatives before the playoffs begin.

By his standards, Booker’s stat line on Sunday was relatively modest. However, fantasy managers haven’t had much to worry about recently, as he has provided top-15 value in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. What is concerning is that Phoenix now trails Dallas by four games in the loss column for the final play-in spot in the West. Phoenix doesn’t own the rights to its 2025 first-round pick, so tanking is unlikely to be considered at any point. That said, fantasy managers need Booker’s team to turn things around promptly.

On a disappointing night for Durant and the Suns, he recorded his second double-double since the All-Star break. Did the Pelicans view Olynyk as an excellent fit next to Zion Williamson and Yves Missi when they acquired him from the Raptors? If so, the front office deserves credit for getting him in the Brandon Ingram trade. Olynyk was excellent against the Jazz, scoring 26 points on efficient shooting. With Williamson and Missi on the court, there’s a need for a spacer in the Pelicans frontcourt, and Olynyk fits that role. Olynyk can provide reliable fantasy value as a starter for as long as he’s available.

Williamson still hasn’t reached the point where he’ll be allowed to play both games of back-to-backs, and there’s no need for the Pelicans to change that approach before the end of this season. Since the break, Williamson has been a fifth-round player in eight-cat formats.

After sitting out Friday’s loss to the Suns, McCollum made up for lost time on Sunday. Not only are the 25 points the most he’s scored since the All-Star break, but this was CJ’s first 20-point game since then. One night removed from scoring 28 points in a loss to the Pelicans, Durant was less productive as a scorer in Friday’s rematch. The Suns re-inserted Bol into Friday’s game after the outcome was no longer in doubt, seemingly to see if they could get him the two points needed to establish a new career-high. With Olynyk available after not playing on Thursday, he started while rookie Karlo Matkovic was pushed to the bench. The “Lunch Lady” had a solid night at the office, but this wasn’t the kind of performance that will force many fantasy managers to rush to their computers to add Olynyk. As for Matkovic, he shot 1-of-8 from the field and finished with two points, five rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes. Having the room needed to flourish offensively has been a rare occurrence for Missi this season. However, that wasn’t the case on Friday, as the Pelicans were without CJ McCollum and Zion Williamson. While Missi has remained in the starting lineup, his fantasy value took a slight hit, with Kelly Olynyk moving into the starting lineup and fellow rookie Karlo Matkovic playing better basketball.
