O’Neale came up big when the Suns needed him most, scoring the team’s final seven points in Thursday’s 113-110 victory. His last basket came with nine-tenths of a second remaining, with the veteran wing knocking down a triple from the left wing. O’Neale has made multiple three-pointers in eight of his last nine appearances. While worth a look in deep leagues where there is a need for three-point production, O’Neale offers a limited fantasy ceiling.

While Allen’s percentage wasn’t the best, he did what he had to offensively for a Suns team that is without its top two scorers. Allen knocked down six three-pointers, and his most important play may have been one in which he didn’t shoot the ball. The Suns guard was able to get downhill on the team’s final possession, putting the Lakers in rotation defensively. Allen’s pass to Collin Gillespie was followed by one from Gillespie to Royce O’Neale, who hit the game-winning three with nine-tenths of a second remaining. Allen should be rostered in 12-team leagues as long as Devin Booker and Dillon Brooks remain out.

While the Suns struggled offensively in losses to the Trail Blazers and Celtics, Gillespie was one of the few who did not. He entered Thursday having scored at least 15 points in three consecutive games, and he extended the run to four with another solid performance. Gillespie’s six three-pointers were the most in a game for him since February 3, when he knocked down eight against Portland. With Devin Booker and Dillon Brooks injured, Gillespie remains at a point where he should be rostered in most leagues.

After reaching double figures in five of six games, Krejčí entered Thursday’s game having totaled eight points on 3-of-11 shooting over his last two. The Trail Blazers’ wing was considerably better against the Bulls, shooting 3-of-8 from three and putting up 14 points. The Trail Blazers did not have Deni Avdija (back) for Thursday’s game, and his absence resulted in Henderson making his first start of the season. While the third-year guard could not find the mark from deep, missing all five of his three-point attempts, he shot 6-of-7 from two and kept the turnovers (two) in check. Henderson is still under a minutes restriction, playing 24 against the Bulls, and his fantasy ceiling will be limited until that changes.

While Donovan Clingan (illness) being out did not result in a move into the starting lineup for the Time Lord, there were increased opportunities to contribute. And Williams took advantage, matching his season-high with 14 rebounds and recording his third double-double of the season. Add in the two steals and four blocked shots, and Thursday was an excellent night for those who plugged Williams into their lineups. With the Trail Blazers having a back-to-back to end Week 18, fantasy managers should expect Williams to sit on either Saturday (at Charlotte) or Sunday (at Atlanta).

As was the case in Tuesday’s loss to the Timberwolves, Grant made a living at the foul line on Thursday. He made 12 of his 14 attempts, and the 27 points scored were the most in a game for the Trail Blazers’ forward since a 29-point effort against the Grizzlies on February 7. Portland was without Donovan Clingan on Thursday, shifting Grant to the starting center role. That may have factored into him grabbing five rebounds, a number he’s reached in consecutive games for the first time this season. Clingan was a late addition to the injury report, which is never a great sign. The big man has played at least 30 minutes in three of the last four games and has enjoyed a breakout season in Portland. He was also likely in for a strong game against a really banged-up Bulls team. If Clingan misses, then Robert Williams III could have a big game, but Williams III is also questionable with a foot injury, which could leave Jerami Grant to operate as a small-ball five against a similarly small Bulls team.

After aggravating his lower back injury during Sunday’s win over the Suns, Avdija did not play in Tuesday’s loss to the Timberwolves. He’ll miss a second consecutive game on Thursday, which likely means another start for Kris Murray. With Deni Avdija (back) sidelined, Murray entered the starting unit. This was only his third game back after missing over six weeks with a back injury, but he was still able to set a new season high for scoring. Murray is a solid rotation piece, but he hasn’t been able to make much of a fantasy impact throughout his first three seasons. Clingan did a little bit of everything in this game, including his second straight double-double and plenty of defensive production. He has been dominant recently, and he ranks inside the top 10 in nine-category value over the past two weeks. He has been a dominant source of rebounds, blocks and field goal percentage, but the assists, stelas and three-pointers have been solid as well. With three more games this week, Clingan should remain productive, especially against the Bulls on Thursday and against the Hawks on Sunday.

In what was an ugly game offensively for both teams, Phoenix ended up on the wrong end of the scoreboard. This would’ve been their lowest-scoring outing of the season had they not just been held to 77 points in Sunday’s loss.
