Kornet is recovering from left ankle and right shoulder sprains, which have sidelined him for San Antonio’s last seven games. If he’s able to play on Monday, Kelly Olynyk’s playing time may take a hit. However, this won’t impact either center, as they don’t provide much value when Victor Wembanyama is available.

Booker fell just short of his first triple-double in the regular season during his 11-year career as Phoenix notched their fourth win over their last five games. The 29-year-old offensive catalyst was unable to pick up an assist over the final seven-plus minutes of this one. His only career triple-double came in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals back in 2021. He’s averaging 30 points, four rebounds, seven assists and one steal through nine games.

Brooks looked sharp in his return to Phoenix’s lineup following a two-week absence where he missed six games while recovering from a groin injury. He kicked off the contest by jawing with Clippers star James Harden and backed up the talk by draining two of three from downtown and getting to the charity stripe with regularity. He’s averaging nearly 19 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals in four games to kick off his Phoenix debut.

Green needed help leaving the court in the final minute of the first quarter after appearing to reaggravate a lingering right hamstring issue that kept him out of Phoenix’s first eight games. The 23-year-old was acquired from the Rockets in the Kevin Durant megatrade over the summer and scored 29 points on Thursday in his impressive Suns debut. Ryan Dunn and Grayson Allen will take on additional minutes if he’s forced to miss any additional time.

Suiting up for the first time this season, Fox had no issues getting his shot to fall. He scored 15 points in the second quarter alone and led the Spurs in scoring to help them move to 7-2. Head coach Mitch Johnson said Fox wouldn’t have a minutes restriction, and he ended up logging 30 minutes. That should increase as he logs more games, and they don’t have a back-to-back until December, which should help Fox be available for the rest of the month.

With De’Aaron Fox (hamstring) available for the first time this season, Castle didn’t take the expected backseat. He accounted for nearly half of the Spurs’ assists, while Fox only had three dimes. Castle also played 35 minutes. If the plan is to take advantage of Fox’s scoring ability and keep him fresh by allowing Castle to dominate the ball, then both guards can thrive in fantasy hoops. It’s only one game, but it seems like Castle isn’t going to take a hit in production.

Though he was elite to start the season, Wemby’s last few games have been rough. Over the last four games, he has shot just 39.7 percent from the floor while averaging 17 points, 10.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 2.5 blocks per game. Of course, for most players, those are strong numbers. But it’s the inefficiency that has torn down his recent production; Wemby is also averaging five turnovers during this four-game stretch. He’ll look to get back on track in Chicago on Monday.

Castle landed his first double-double of the season on Friday, posting a new season-high in assists in the victory. Poor shooting from beyond the arc hurt his overall scoring efficiency against the Rockets, but his accuracy inside the arc, combined with solid production from the free throw line, allowed the young point guard to finish in double figures as a scorer for the eighth straight time to begin the season. De’Aaron Fox (hamstring) seems to be nearing a return, which could potentially impact Castle’s production. Until then, the second-year guard remains San Antonio’s lead ball handler and main distributor.

Wemby cracked the 20-point mark for the first time in November after struggling with his shooting over the previous couple of games. He didn’t post a dominant stat line, but was efficient as a shooter while making contributions across several other statistical categories. After missing the first eight games of the season, Green’s debut for the Suns went about as well as it could have. He only played 23 minutes, but that ended up being enough time for him to shine in his first game for the Suns. Green may not shoot this well all season, but the shot volume should be there for him. This was only the third time this season that Booker didn’t score at least 30 points. However, the Suns were still able to secure a win. The return of Jalen Green helped make that possible, but that shouldn’t concern fantasy managers that have Booker rostered. He’s still the superstar of this team. Things may be easier for Booker with another high-level shot creator around to take some of the defensive attention, but the offense will still run through him.

With Jalen Green (hamstring) making his season debut, Dunn came off the bench for the first time this season. However, that didn’t stop him from producing a solid line. Due to calf and wrist injuries, Sochan did not make his first appearance of the season until Wednesday. He looked sharp offensively, only missing one shot from the field. More encouraging may be the fact that Sochan played 23 minutes without any issues. That appeared to upset the 7-foot-4 phenom’s rhythm, despite the final point total. Averaging 31.0 points per game, Booker has scored at least 30 points in six of the Suns’ first eight games. While he was responsible for five turnovers, that’s to be expected given the attention he received from the Warriors defensively. However, he still shot over 50 percent from the field and is making 51.6 percent of his attempts on the season.
