Brooks has taken big strides as a scorer this season. He’s averaging career highs in points and field goal attempts while also enjoying the best field goal percentage of his career. His offensive growth has been pivotal in helping the Suns start 12-9 despite dealing with multiple injuries early on. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, Phoenix only has two games next week, which will limit how much Brooks can produce.

Allen missed the last seven games with a quad injury, but he was back in the lineup for this game. He immediately returned to the starting unit but only played 26 minutes, which will likely increase as he logs more games. His return bumped Collin Gillespie to the bench, though Gillespie still logged 29 minutes as a reserve. Gillespie clearly isn’t worth dropping, even if he is coming off the bench. As for Allen, it was good to see him back on the floor. His spot in the starting unit continues to be secure.

With Mark Williams (calf) sidelined for the second leg of the Suns’ back-to-back, Ighodaro slid into the starting unit. He also logged 32 minutes, while Nick Richards only saw seven minutes of game action. It wasn’t a monster game for Ighodaro, but he seems to currently be the No. 2 center option on the depth chart currently. If Williams were to miss an extended period of time, Ighodaro would be the pickup.

For matchup purposes, Suns coach Jordan Ott ended up playing Oso Ighodaro for 22 minutes off the bench, which left 22 minutes for Williams and four for Nick Richards. Despite the lack of opportunity, Williams was able to dominate the glass, which can at least partially be attributed to the absence of Isaiah Hartenstein. This was a third straight double-double for Williams, who has still surpassed 30 minutes just one time this season.

Booker’s cold spell continued in this loss to OKC. This was the fifth straight game that Booker shot below 40 percent from the floor, which is surprising after he started off the year as hot as he did. While Devin Vassell and Julian Champagnie handled most of the scoring, Fox led the way with 12 assists on Friday. And he’s been highly valuable to fantasy managers recently, providing top-20 value in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. While some may be tempted to sell high, that may not be the best course of action. With Stephon Castle and Victor Wembanyama out, Fox has a higher ceiling, and taking advantage of this would be a good idea.

Having started the last five games due to injuries, Champagnie has recorded double-doubles in three straight. Vassell put on a show Friday night, with his hot shooting pushing the Spurs into the NBA Cup quarterfinals. Not only did he record his first 30-point game of the season, but this was also the third time he’s scored at least 20. Following a 10-game absence, Harper’s return to the lineup was uneventful. The rookie guard played only 17 minutes off the bench and shot the ball inefficiently during his time on the floor. He was averaging 14.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 25.8 minutes per game over the first five games of the season before getting hurt against the Suns on November 2. With De’Aaron Fox back in the lineup and Stephon Castle’s return likely not too far away, it’s hard to predict how much of an impact Harper will make from a fantasy basketball standpoint moving forward. Vassell was San Antonio’s second-best scorer on Wednesday, finishing as one of two Spurs to reach the 20-point mark. He found his scoring production by way of effective three-point shooting, while also being efficient inside the arc. Fox erupted for his highest scoring performance of the season on Wednesday. The three-point shot worked in his favor, as free-throw production was also a key in his scoring total. The near-40-point outing also marked the sixth game in a row that the lefty guard has scored at least 24 points. Additionally, he finished as the Spurs’ leader in assists and came up two dimes short of the double-double. Booker struggled with his shot on Wednesday, shooting 4-of-13 from inside the arc. The good news for fantasy managers is that he provided solid value in the rebound and assist categories. Having provided solid fantasy value while coming off the bench, Gillespie was inserted into the Suns’ starting lineup on Wednesday.
