Brown’s magnum opus featured an extremely efficient shooting performance as he knocked down 18-of-26 attempts, including 6-of-10 from beyond the arc, finishing at nearly 70 percent from the floor. It was his second 50-point effort, matching his previous career-high mark set back on January 2, 2022. The 29-year-old franchise cornerstone combined with teammate Derrick White for 24 first-quarter points as Boston erupted for a season-high 42 points in the opening stanza and simply never looked back. It was a sublime all-around performance as Brown also locked up Clippers star Kawhi Leonard on the defensive end of the floor. He’s scored at least 29 points in 11 of his last 12 games since December 2. Unreal. The Celtics return home next week for a four-game slate that includes matchups against the Bulls, Nuggets, Raptors and Spurs.

Jaylen Brown’s 50-point explosion will grab most of the headlines in this one-sided affair, but White remains the unheralded straw that stirs the metaphorical drink on both ends of the floor. The 31-year-old guard, who ranks second in the league in “stocks” (steals and blocks), added three more to the ledger while defending Clippers superstars Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, who were held to fewer than 25 points each. He’s topped 20 points in eight of his last 14 games since December 2.

Camara isn’t an elite three-point shooter, but he has upped his production in that category. The Trail Blazers’ wing has hit multiple three-pointers in six straight and nine of his last ten appearances. However, Camara’s percentages have decreased, as has the defensive production. For those reasons, he’s ranked outside the top-200 in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. While managers in deep leagues can afford to remain patient, standard-league managers who have Camara rostered have a decision to make ahead of Portland’s four-game Week 12.

The 7-foot-2 center notched a season-high point total and matched his previous high in made three-pointers. One night removed from dropping his first 30-point double-double in over a month, the Trail Blazers forward finished Saturday’s win with his third triple-double. The many injuries that the Trail Blazers have dealt with on the perimeter opened the door for Love, and the undrafted rookie out of Arizona has taken advantage. He’s now reached double figures in six straight games, providing top-100 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Rostered in seven percent of Yahoo! leagues, Love is worth a look in deeper formats while guys like Jrue Holiday and Scoot Henderson are out. As a two-way contract player, he’s limited to 50 games, and the rookie has played 27. We’ll see if Love can do enough to earn a standard deal before hitting the 50-game mark.

Since missing three games in early December with a leg injury, Clingan has hit double digits in rebounds in eight of his 11 appearances. Friday’s double-double was his 11th of the season and fifth since returning from injury, with the second-year center providing eighth-round per-game value in nine-cat formats. Robert Williams III (four points, six rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot) played 18 minutes off the bench; as long as Clingan can meet or exceed 30 minutes, as he did on Friday, his fantasy value will be fine.

While there were moments when Sharpe struggled to get his offense going, especially when guarded by Pelicans rookie Micah Peavy, he still scored 23 points on 50 percent shooting. Over the past two weeks, Sharpe has provided top-100 per-game value in eight-cat formats. Avdija has recorded a double-double in three of his last four games, but this was his first with at least 30 points in over a month. The Trail Blazers’ forward continues to flourish despite being thrust into a lead playmaker role that he had seldom taken on in the past. Another positive for fantasy managers on Friday was that Avdija only committed two turnovers; that category has been problematic at times. On the heels of a seven-block performance against the Jazz, White was much quieter as a shot blocker on Thursday. Still, he accumulated four stocks on the defensive end to go along with his team-high in assists and his second consecutive game with at least 15 points. Despite not shooting well from beyond the arc, Brown nearly found his way to the 30-point mark. He flourished inside the arc and additionally hit the glass hard to tally a double-double. Sharpe struggled with his efficiency on Wednesday, tallying nearly as many missed shots as he had points — zero made three-pointers, and limited production from the free-throw line led to the fourth-year guard’s lowest points total of December.
