Phoenix struggled to get anything going offensively in this one, committing a whopping 20 turnovers and shooting just 41.3 percent from the floor to finish with a season-low 92 points against a Rockets squad playing without Kevin Durant. Brooks was one of the few bright spots as he knocked down 11 of 22 shots, despite going 2-of-8 from three-point range and fell just shy of breaking the 30-point barrier for the third time this season. He’s performed at a fifth-round level this season from a fantasy standpoint, averaging 22 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and two steals in 12 games. The Suns are back in action on Wednesday night when they face the Kings.

Booker has been mired in a bit of a mini-slump of late, failing to break 25 points in each of his last four contests, performing at just a 14th-round value for fantasy purposes during that span. The Suns were an unmitigated disaster in this one committing 20 turnovers and scoring a season-low 92 points in an ugly loss at the hands of the Kevin Durant-less Rockets. It’s too small of a sample size to be overly concerned, but he’s shooting just 33 percent from three-point range while averaging less than six attempts per-game from downtown, which represents his lowest rate in a half-decade.

Having tweaked his left ankle during Friday’s win over the Warriors, Clingan’s availability for both games of Portland’s ensuing back-to-back was good news for the Trail Blazers and fantasy managers. After providing minimal value in Sunday’s loss to the Thunder, the second-year center recorded his fifth double-double of the season in Milwaukee. By comparison, Clingan had eight double-doubles his entire rookie season. While it’s still early, the question isn’t whether he can provide top-100 value, but rather if Clingan can maintain top-50 value in nine-cat formats.

In addition to pestering Milwaukee’s Ryan Rollins defensively for most of the night, Camara finished Monday’s victory with a complete stat line. The third-year forward has been close to a top-100 player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. With Camara being a limited scorer, turnovers have a greater impact on his value than some other 3-and-D wings. He’s averaged 2.8 turnovers per game during this stretch, resulting in his nine-cat value being three rounds lower than his eight-cat value.

After recording one assist in Sunday’s blowout loss to the Thunder, Avdija was considerably better on Monday. In addition to the increased assists, he has scored at least 22 points in three of his last four games. Since the Trail Blazers lost Jrue Holiday to a calf injury, Avdija has averaged 23.2 points and 7.0 assists per game. While turnovers can be an issue on occasion, Deni is well-positioned to provide top-50 value at a minimum while Portland awaits Holiday’s return.

Grant recorded his second 30-point game of the season, dropping a season-high 35 on the Bucks. He did much of his work at the foul line, with 16 points from the charity stripe, the most for him since February 8, 2024, against the Pistons (18). Grant doesn’t offer much as a rebounder, but the increased scoring is why he’s a top-100 player in nine-cat formats. His average of 19.5 points per game is just over five points higher than his 2024-24 number (14.4).

Williams recorded his fifth double-double of the season on Sunday, and he’s proven more valuable than some fantasy managers expected him to be during the preseason. The 7-footer is providing top-50 value in eight-cat formats, exceeding his Yahoo! ADP (83) by a comfortable distance. With Jalen Green, Grayson Allen and Ryan Dunn all out due to injury, Goodwin was tabbed to make his first start of the season on Sunday. Collin Gillespie, whose opportunities have also increased due to the injuries, added 15 points, three rebounds, six assists, one steal and three three-pointers in 29 minutes off the bench. For the first time in two weeks, Williams has reached double figures in two consecutive games. On Friday, he was also effective as a rebounder, with eight caroms, the most he’s had in a game since November 6. Since that win over the Clippers, Williams endured a five-game stretch in which he averaged 10.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.0 blocks, which was suitable for top-75 value in nine-cat formats.
