Simons continues to get more comfortable with his role in Boston, having scored in double figures in six straight and nine of his last ten games. Unfortunately for fantasy managers who have him rostered, this has not resulted in increased fantasy value. Over the past three weeks, Simons is still ranked outside the top-150 in eight- and nine-cat formats. Given how competitive the Celtics have been, it would be surprising to see them make any drastic changes to the roster before the trade deadline, which would not be a good thing for Simons’ fantasy value.

Being the best shot-blocking guard in the NBA gives White’s fantasy value a welcome boost, especially in category leagues. He recorded three more rejections on Wednesday, extending his streak with at least one to 11 consecutive games. Due partly to that production, White has been a first-round player in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past three weeks. The Celtics return to action on Friday against the Raptors.

Queta’s overall stat line was lean, except in one category: rebounds. Two days removed from grabbing 13 boards in a win over the Bulls, he tallied a career-high 20 against the Nuggets. Rostered in 37 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Queta has offered top-100 per-game value over the past two weeks. Given his productivity throughout the season, the former second-round pick is worth a look in some 12-team formats, especially where there’s a need for rebounds.

After a rough night in Monday’s win over the Bulls, Brown got back on track Wednesday night in terms of scoring. Since December 2, he’s tallied at least 30 points in 11 of the 14 games that he’s played. Add in the rebounds, assists and three-pointers, and the overall stat line recorded on Wednesday was excellent. However, Brown was responsible for seven turnovers, the most he’s had in a game since November 18 (eight vs. Brooklyn). Due to that category, there has been a three-round gap in Brown’s eight- and nine-cat values over the past month.

After scoring six points in back-to-back games, Raynaud reached double figures on Tuesday. The rookie center finished one rebound shy of a double-double, but he’s now played 35 minutes or more in four of his last six appearances. Raynaud’s offensive ceiling may be capped since he’s in a lineup with three ball-dominant players (Russell Westbrook, Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan). But, over the past two weeks, he has been an 11th-round player in nine-cat formats. Despite the limited ceiling, Raynaud is worth rostering as long as the Kings are without Domantas Sabonis.

DeRozan shot 3-of-6 from beyond the arc on Tuesday, the first time since December 18 (ten games) in which he’s made multiple triples in the same game. Fantasy managers don’t look to him for value in that category, but nights like Tuesday are helpful, considering the decreased scoring output. Compared to last season, DeRozan’s average (18.4) has declined by nearly four points. Because of the overall production and efficiency, he’s still offering top-50 value in nine-cat formats, but things could be better for the veteran guard/forward.

After playing 36 minutes off the bench in his first game back from a sprained ankle that sidelined him for nine games, LaVine was back in the starting lineup on Tuesday. The Kings did not have Keegan Murray, who will miss three to four weeks with a sprained ankle, so LaVine’s promotion did not come at the expense of Precious Achiuwa (nine points, nine rebounds, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in 22 minutes). LaVine recorded a complete stat line against Dallas, and he has the tools needed to threaten top-50 per-game value. Of course, that depends on how the Kings handle the trade deadline, as they should probably be “sellers.”

It was a tale of two halves for Simons on Monday. He had no points in the first half, but dropped 27 points with eight three-pointers in the second half of the win over the Bulls. The 26-year-old shooting guard is averaging 13.1 points per game this year, but he’s scored at least 20 points in two of his last four games. However, with LaVine playing 36 minutes, he’ll likely start as soon as Tuesday’s game against the Mavericks. One game removed from becoming the highest-scoring point guard in league history, Westbrook recorded a robust stat line on Sunday. The field-goal percentage was poor, but the veteran point guard did a little bit of everything and kept the turnovers in check. Brown’s magnum opus featured an extremely efficient shooting performance as he knocked down 18-of-26 attempts, including 6-of-10 from beyond the arc, finishing at nearly 70 percent from the floor. It was his second 50-point effort, matching his previous career-high mark set back on January 2, 2022. The 29-year-old franchise cornerstone combined with teammate Derrick White for 24 first-quarter points as Boston erupted for a season-high 42 points in the opening stanza and simply never looked back. It was a sublime all-around performance as Brown also locked up Clippers star Kawhi Leonard on the defensive end of the floor.
