Monk has recorded three 20-point games in his last five appearances, with his fantasy ceiling being slightly higher than usual due to Dennis Schröder’s absence due to injury. Over the last four games, Monk has provided top-100 value in eight- and nine-cat formats. He’s still rostered in 22 percent of Yahoo! leagues, which may be a bit low due to the combination of his production and Schröder’s absence. However, the schedule does not work in Monk’s favor, as the Kings play only one more game in Week 7.

On a night when the Kings’ starters underwhelmed, Raynaud enjoyed his best game as a pro. Less than a week after scoring 19 points against the Jazz, the rookie center recorded his first 20-point game in Houston. While he may not be Domantas Sabonis’ replacement in the starting lineup, Raynaud has more opportunities to contribute with the veteran center sidelined. And his upside is superior to that of Drew Eubanks, who only played ten minutes on Wednesday. Raynaud isn’t a must-add just yet, but he deserves a look in deep leagues.

Monk was initially probable for Wednesday’s game, so the upgrade in status was expected. With Dennis Schröder still out, Monk will spend more time on the ball, running the show when Russell Westbrook isn’t on the floor. There will also be times when the two are playing alongside each other.

Booker injured his right groin during the first quarter of Monday’s win over the Lakers and did not return. He has since been diagnosed with a strain. He will be re-evaluated in one week, taking at least three games off the table, including the NBA Cup quarterfinal matchup with Oklahoma City on December 10. Jordan Goodwin is a potential replacement in the starting lineup, but only if Grayson Allen is unavailable. Having recently missed time with a quad contusion, Allen did not play on Monday due to illness.

Booker was enjoying a nice opening quarter against the Lakers before a groin injury forced him to exit before the period’s end, and ultimately kept him out the remainder of the game. The severity of his injury is unknown to this point, but should the superstar guard be sidelined for any amount of time, Jordan Goodwin would likely fill in as the fifth starter. Phoenix has just one more game this week, which isn’t until Friday, leaving Booker time to recover and miss little, if any, action.

With Devin Booker exiting after just 10 minutes due to a groin injury, Gillespie joined Dillon Brooks in carrying the Suns to another impressive victory. The former Villanova Wildcat served the Lakers a season high in points and three-pointers, while matching his season average in assists along the way. Gillespie has been one of several Suns players to outperform expectations thus far, and should remain productive as Phoenix’s current starting point guard. He’s worthy of a roster spot in fantasy leagues.

Brooks carried the scoring load for the Suns on Monday, with Devin Booker (groin) being limited to 10 minutes of game action. He was aggressive in his approach, generating a season-high in field goal attempts along the way, but shot efficiently enough to log his third 30-point game as a member of the Suns. Brooks has brought both production and intangibles to Phoenix on both ends of the floor, which has the team playing far better than most predicted. He could be even more productive going forward, depending on the significance of Booker’s injury.

The injury seemed to occur late in the first quarter of Monday’s game. Booker was charged with an offensive foul and then subbed out immediately and replaced by Collin Gillespie before heading to the locker room. He was eventually ruled out before the start of the second half. Without Booker, the team’s most accomplished player, Jordan Goodwin, could see more action. The significance of Booker’s injury is unknown for now.

Grayson Allen is out due to an illness, opening up a spot in the Suns’ starting lineup. Gillespie, who has played very well over the last few weeks, will fill the void, with Ryan Dunn coming off the bench in his first game back from a sprained wrist that cost him five games. Monk finished Sunday’s defeat one point shy of his season high, shooting just under 50 percent from the field. Even better for fantasy managers was the veteran guard recording a complete stat line, something he’s done on four other occasions this season. Rostered in 22 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Monk sits just outside the top-150 in nine-cat formats. Given his importance to the Kings’ rotation, he’s worth rostering in 14-team leagues, but 12-team league managers can afford to look elsewhere for production.

After poor showings in games against the Timberwolves and Suns, LaVine has been more productive in the Kings’ last two games. In Sunday’s defeat, the veteran wing’s stat line included a season-high three steals. In fact, this was LaVine’s third game of the season with multiple steals. In other words, fantasy managers should know not to look to him for consistent defensive production. The hope is that he can knock down shots at a decent clip. The Kings play only two games in Week 7, starting with the Rockets on Wednesday.

DeRozan led the way offensively for the Kings, who had three players score at least 19 points on Sunday. Their issue was one DeRozan couldn’t help with: the inability to slow down Memphis center Zach Edey. Over the past two weeks, DeMar has provided fifth-round value in nine-cat formats, sitting just outside the top-50. Unfortunately, Sacramento has a bad Week 7 schedule, as they only play twice. DeRozan should be held, but there are Kings further down the pecking order who won’t be of much use to fantasy managers.

Allen missed the last seven games with a quad injury, but he was back in the lineup for this game. He immediately returned to the starting unit but only played 26 minutes, which will likely increase as he logs more games. His return bumped Collin Gillespie to the bench, though Gillespie still logged 29 minutes as a reserve. Gillespie clearly isn’t worth dropping, even if he is coming off the bench. In this game, he was able to record the 206th triple-double of his career, which extends his lead over everyone else that’s ever played in the NBA. Murray’s three-point shooting has been his strongest attribute throughout his career. However, he didn’t provide much value from beyond the arc in this game.
