San Antonio still managed to lose the game to a Nuggets team that played Nikola Jokic fewer than 20 minutes. Fox still had a good game, adding in rebounds, assists and a block, which he tends to do when Victor Wembanyama is out. In his first full season with the Spurs, Fox has provided seventh-round per game value.

Thompson played just over 10 minutes in Sunday’s season finale, and that was enough time for him to add another accomplishment to his career résumé. With his four three-pointers, the veteran sharpshooter finished with 202 on the season. Thompson has 11 seasons with at least 200 three-pointers; only Stephen Curry (13) has more. Klay is under contract for the 2026-27 season, but the days of him being a must-roster player in fantasy leagues are in the rear-view mirror.

As a two-way player, Cissé’s opportunities this season were somewhat limited. However, he got another extended opportunity on Sunday and finished with season-highs in points and rebounds. Add in the defensive stats, and this was an excellent stat line for fantasy managers whose leagues were active on Sunday. Cissé’s fantasy outlook for 2026-27 depends on whether he can secure a standard contract.

The Mavericks’ rookies put on a show in Sunday’s season finale, and that doesn’t include Cooper Flagg, who left during the first half with a sprained ankle. Poulakidis put on a shooting exhibition, making eight of his 16 three-point attempts. And the rookie guard was at his best in the third quarter, scoring 22 points. Poulakidis is on a two-way contract, so he’ll have some work to do to lock down a consistent role. But the Mavericks should be encouraged by his finish to the season.

While Nembhard failed to grab that elusive tenth rebound, he did make some franchise history in Sunday’s season finale. His 23 assists were a single-game franchise rookie record and two shy of the league record. Add in an efficient night shooting the basketball, and this was an excellent finish to the season for Nembhard. While he played well enough to earn a standard contract, the expected return of Kyrie Irving limits Nembhard’s fantasy value in 2026-27, in both redraft and dynasty leagues.

Harper suffered a left thumb injury during the second half of Sunday’s game. The rookie guard played 18 minutes, finishing with nine points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal. Jordan McLaughlin may play a few more minutes in the fourth quarter, but the bigger concern is Harper’s availability for the playoffs, which begin next weekend.

The veteran forward appeared in 56 games, averaging 14.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.1 blocks and 1.4 three-pointers. Washington has averaged at least one steal and one blocked shot in each of his two full seasons with the Mavericks. He still isn’t a great option in category leagues; he simply doesn’t produce in enough categories consistently. However, he has had his most efficient season this year and has been a reliable scoring option off the bench for San Antonio all season long. He has yet to miss a game, so he may suit up for the season finale despite the Spurs already locked in as the second seed in the West.

With Stephon Castle sidelined for this game, Fox stepped up as a playmaker and recorded his first double-double in over a month. Fox is still capable of producing at a high level, but he hasn’t been as aggressive as a scorer this season. The younger guards have stepped up, but Fox reminded us in this game that he can still facilitate at a high level. This type of performance was great to see with the playoffs a little over a week away.

However, he didn’t just coast to get there; he dominated this game with his third 40-point double-double in his last five appearances. Wemby has once again been one of the best players in fantasy basketball and will look to carry this dominant production into his first playoff appearance.

Flagg struggled in Wednesday’s loss to Phoenix, but he was able to get back on track in this game. Though they were on the wrong side of the scoreboard once again, Flagg was able to have another monster scoring performance to help strengthen his Rookie of the Year campaign. Flagg has been a fantasy star in his first season in the league, and he’ll continue to be one of the best players in fantasy basketball for the next 15 years. Whether or not he wins Rookie of the Year isn’t going to change that. He should be considered one of the most valuable players in dynasty leagues.

Yet the rookie forward didn’t let his scoring struggles stop him from contributing in other areas. Flagg will have a chance to close his rookie season on a higher note, as Dallas will play against San Antonio on Friday and Chicago on Sunday.

The second-year guard also scored enough to finish as San Antonio’s leading scorer on the evening, despite not reaching the 20-point mark. Castle’s Year 2 leap has helped the Spurs become a legitimate title contender. His ability to impact multiple areas of the game also led him to a strong fantasy season.
