Due to injuries, Williams has been a must-add player in deep leagues, providing third-round value in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. A hamstring issue is why he appears on the Mavericks’ injury report, but he’s also running out of games as a two-way player. Jaden Hardy (ankle) may return from his ankle injury on Wednesday, which may impact Williams’ availability.

Paul continues to provide valuable leadership for the Spurs, and he finished Monday’s defeat with eight assists. However, the playing time has decreased. Paul has not surpassed 25 minutes in any of his last six appearances and hasn’t played 30 or more since February 25. With Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox out for the rest of the season and Paul’s minutes decreasing, it’s fair to wonder if he’ll be shut down at some point. However, CP3 is still playing and can provide value in the rebound and assist categories.

Since the All-Star break, Vassell has been a top-50 player in nine-cat while sitting just outside that threshold in eight-cat formats. Monday’s performance was good for the Spurs guard, who scored at least 17 points in three straight and four of his last five outings. As long as Vassell logs starters’ minutes, he’ll remain a valuable player to have rostered. Especially with De’Aaron Fox done for the rest of the season.

Since the Spurs lost De’Aaron Fox to season-ending finger surgery, Castle has averaged 22.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 0.7 steals and 2.0 three-pointers per game as a starter. While the rookie has only been an 11th-round player in eight-cat formats during this three-game stretch, the opportunity is such that Castle should be picked up in standard leagues. He’s at 55 percent rostered in Yahoo! leagues, and the Spurs are scheduled to play three more games during Week 20.

After scoring 26 points in consecutive games at the beginning of Week 19, Thompson fell into a mini-slump, scoring 19 points on 7-of-25 shooting against the Spurs and Rockets. The veteran sharpshooter found his groove on Sunday, shooting nearly 67 percent from the field and scoring 21 points. Thompson’s situation isn’t the best due to the Mavericks’ many injuries, but he’ll have no problem getting up shots. The problem for fantasy managers is the schedule, as Dallas plays two games during Week 20 and 10 total during weeks 20 through 22.

Unlike Brandon Williams (11/2/2/1/1 in 32 minutes), who remains on a two-way contract, Christie has no such contract concerns. That makes him the superior choice for deep-league fantasy managers despite coming off the bench on Sunday. Neither player should be considered a must-add for Week 20, as the Mavericks only play two games. But if anyone is going to be targeted in deep leagues, it should be Christie before Williams.

Marshall continues to shine for the Mavericks, performing well on Sunday despite PJ Washington returning from a sprained ankle. Naji has scored 20 points or more in two straight and six of his last seven outings, and he has provided top-100 value in eight- and nine-cat formats since the All-Star break. The only issue in the short term is Dallas’ upcoming schedule, as they’ll only play two games during Week 20. Fantasy managers who can afford to hold onto Marshall should strongly consider doing so.

After missing seven games with a sprained ankle, Washington made up for lost time Sunday afternoon. The 29 points were the most he’s scored in a game since January 22, and the double-double was Washington’s first since January 31. Due to the Mavericks’ many injuries and the team still locked in a race for a play-in spot, PJ should have a neon-green light on the offensive end of the floor. That would undoubtedly benefit those who have him rostered, even with the Mavericks only playing two games during Week 20.

Like teammate Devin Vassell, Castle did not shoot the ball well on Saturday. The good news for those who have him rostered is that the rookie dished out seven assists, his highest tally since March 1. Since the All-Star break, Castle is ranked just inside the top 200 in eight-cat per-game value. Under normal circumstances, there would be no reason for 54 percent of Yahoo! league managers to roster the rookie. Vassell’s field goal percentage was subpar, but the overall stat line was one that many fantasy managers would live with.
