While Bismack Biyombo is available for Saturday’s game, he’s been moved to the bench for matchup reasons. A more athletic defender, Sochan will start opposite Kristaps Porzingis, and the lineup change raises his fantasy ceiling. Biyombo can still offer rebounds and blocks as a reserve, but this is not a great matchup.

Walker missed four games with a concussion, then he exited early after playing 11 minutes in his return and has missed Philadelphia’s last three games. It appears that he is on track to play against Miami on Saturday, which would likely take away minutes from Ricky Council IV. It is also worth noting that Tyrese Maxey, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Andre Drummond were all partial participants in practice, but there still isn’t a timeline for their return. At this point, is anyone expecting them to play again this season? Philly is in a tight race at the top of the lottery, and they’re trying to stay in the top six to avoid their pick going to the Thunder. Playing anyone that is going to help them win games would be counterproductive.

Vassell has carried a large portion of the Spurs’ offense recently, with Thursday’s loss marking the fourth-straight game that he has finished with at least 20 points and three triples. March has been a phenomenal month for Vassell, and it gives Spurs fans plenty of optimism heading into next season despite their postseason chances being dashed by the injuries to Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox. Vassell’s numbers overall this season are down from last year, but March has been one of the best stretches of his young career.

March has been kind to Johnson up until San Antonio’s last two games. However, he was able to get back on track on Thursday and record his third double-double of the season and his first since January. This was also the fourth time in their last seven games that he has swiped at least two steals. He averages 0.7 steals over the course of the season and isn’t known for contributing defensive stats often, but this has been an improved stretch. If he can keep this going into next year, he may be a valuable player in category formats.

Despite a subpar shooting night from Castle, he was still able to produce a strong stat line that nearly resulted in the first triple-double of his career. It ended up being the third double-double of his career, and he has scored at least 15 points in each of his last eight games, which is when he returned to the starting unit. Castle has had a phenomenal rookie season and seems to have a good chance to win Rookie of the Year. The Spurs will wrap up this week with a back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday.

The good news for fantasy managers is that Yabusele plays quality minutes. However, those who may have hoped to see him log 30 minutes or more consistently may be disappointed. He’s played 29 or fewer in four of his last five appearances, as it’s probably in Philadelphia’s best interest to go with younger (and less proven) players the rest of the way. Adem Bona (six points, six rebounds, three assists and three blocks) played 23 minutes off the bench. While he did tweak his ankle during the second half of Wednesday’s defeat, the rookie remained in the game. His playing time will likely increase with the 76ers looking toward the future and increasing the likelihood that they’ll hold onto their top-six protected lottery pick.

Grimes didn’t have his best night shooting the ball, making two of his seven attempts from inside the arc, but the overall stat line was solid. Over the past two weeks, the 76ers’ guard has offered top-20 value in eight-cat formats. With Philadelphia ending Week 21 with a Saturday/Sunday back-to-back, Grimes may miss one of those games for rest reasons. While Castle’s fantasy value has not been great, the rookie has averaged 17.3 points per game since the All-Star break. If there has been a silver lining in the cloud that was the Spurs losing Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox, there’s been more room for Castle to operate. He’s reached double figures in seven straight games and provided 10th-round value in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. Though he is known for being a poor option in category formats, Johnson was able to make an impact across the board on Friday. Over San Antonio’s last four games, Johnson has averaged two steals and one block per game.
