Bane shook off a relatively slow start to pour in 20 second-half points on 8-of-11 shooting, including 2-of-3 from three-point range. The 27-year-old scoring machine has been a little underwhelming in his Orlando debut, but he’s still delivered sixth-round fantasy value this season, averaging 19.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.6 blocks through 36 games. After taking just eight shots in the first half, Banchero put together an extremely impressive second half, shouldering a significant portion of the scoring workload with both Franz Wagner (ankle) and Jalen Suggs (knee) out of action. He finished with 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting, including a pair of triples. He came back to earth in the second half with elite offensive threats Paolo Banchero and Desmond Bane taking over the scoring duties. While Tyus Jones has served as the starting point guard on past occasions when Orlando was without Jalen Suggs, that is not the case here.
