With Immanuel Quickley (foot) out, the Raptors have asked Barnes to do more as a scorer and playmaker in recent games. Unfortunately, the All-Star forward has struggled with the increased workload. Barnes has averaged just under 10 points per game over his last four appearances while shooting less than 40 percent from the field. Fantasy basketball aside, the Raptors need more from Barnes as the postseason approaches.

After scoring 20 points or more in four consecutive games, Barrett’s run came to a screeching halt in Boston. The Raptors’ wing shot 5-of-13 from inside the arc, which is problematic since he does not offer much value as a three-point shooter. Barrett has recorded at least four assists in three straight games for just the second time this month.

Ingram’s impact was somewhat muted on Sunday, and he’s now scored 18 points or less in five of his last six appearances. Add in Scottie Barnes’ recent struggles and Immanuel Quickley’s foot injury, and the Raptors are limping to the finish line. With the Raptors still working to avoid the Play-In tournament, Ingram’s availability should not be an issue in Toronto’s four-game Week 24.

Seven Raptors scored in double figures on Sunday, with Walter leading the way. The second-year guard had a good afternoon from beyond the arc, making four of his five attempts. Walter was also responsible for three defensive contributions, validating the few who streamed him after Immanuel Quickley went down with a foot injury. For those whose leagues run through Week 24, the Raptors play four games next week.

Wagner scored the ball well in his 17 minutes of game action. He was aggressive, getting up 12 shots in that time, and was productive on the glass during his minutes. Arguably, the only thing that truly didn’t go his way on Friday was the three-point shooting, which hasn’t been a strength to this point in his career. Nonetheless, the fifth-year forward has shown encouraging signs as he continues to knock off the rust before the regular season ends. Given his low workload in his return from injury, it’s hard to know what kind of production to expect from him during the fantasy playoffs.

Bane was effective on both ends of the floor on Friday, as his impact helped the Magic get back into the win column. Bane’s 27 points only trailed Wendell Carter Jr.'s 27 points for the most on the team. His three-point shooting was a factor, as was his ability to convert at the line. Additionally, the sixth-year guard tied a team high in rebounds, assists, and steals. Bane did it all for the Magic, and they’re going to need more of the same from him in an attempt to move up in the standings and out of the Play-In Tournament.

Carter’s 28 points led all Magic players on Friday, as Desmond Bane’s 27 points were the only other players’ in the vicinity. In 36 minutes, the veteran center was accurate outside the arc and really utilized the charity stripe to his advantage. Carter didn’t put up big numbers in any other statistical category. However, his high production as a scorer was enough to provide positive value from a fantasy standpoint.

The bulk of Murray-Boyles’ production came in the second half of Friday’s game, when he scored 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting. The rookie failed to make a three-pointer for the sixth consecutive game, but still found a way to score over 15 points for the second game in a row. He also provided some assistance on the boards, but didn’t overwhelm there. Overall, Murray Boyles logged another strong performance down the stretch of his rookie season. He’ll have an opportunity for a repeat performance on Sunday against Boston.

Ingram’s line was unspectacular, yet productive, given his limited minutes in the blowout victory. The former Most Improved Player shot the ball well and was just as effective as a passer and rebounder. However, fantasy managers will certainly hope for more from Ingram in Sunday’s fantasy basketball finale when the Raptors face the Celtics, a team that Ingram is averaging 27.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists against in two games this season.

The Raptors took full control of Friday’s game and put it out of reach fairly early. As a result, Barrett was limited to 29 minutes and saw most of his production come over the first three quarters. The lefty scorer produced 23 of his points before the final period, and just two points in four minutes the rest of the way. Three-point shooting was Barrett’s biggest strength on Friday, and he’s now scored 20 or more points in four straight games. He’ll have a chance to extend his scoring streak to five games on Sunday against the Celtics to close the fantasy season.

While Barnes’ percentages were poor on Wednesday, the rebounds, assists and defensive stats were good. Regarding the shooting, it’s fair to wonder if Barnes’ left shoulder may be causing him some trouble, even though he’s a right-handed player. He shot 2-of-8 from the field in Tuesday’s loss to the Pistons and was only slightly better against Sacramento. The Raptors play games on Friday and Sunday, so Barnes won’t have to deal with another back-to-back this week.

With Wednesday’s game being the second in as many nights for the Raptors, Shead was inserted into the starting lineup with Brandon Ingram out. The second-year guard was solid, with the 16 points being the most he’s scored in a game since a January 11 game against the 76ers in which Shead put up 22. Add in the assists, defensive contributions and percentages, and Wednesday was a good night for the few streaming Shead. His fantasy value for the rest of Week 23 depends on the statuses of Ingram and Immanuel Quickley. And with the Raptors not having another back-to-back, there’s no need to add Shead.

While his final stat line was limited, Murray-Boyles put up 20 points in 18 minutes on Wednesday. Also, the Raptors’ rookie started the third quarter in place of Jakob Poeltl, who suffered a cut over his right eye during the first half. Poeltl still played 28 minutes, finishing with 18 points, five rebounds, one assist and two steals. Barrett extended his streak of games with at least 20 points to three on Wednesday, while also providing solid value in rebounds and assists. While the rebounds and assists were solid, Banchero’s overall performance on Wednesday was disappointing. Carter’s 14 points were the most among Magic starters, with Jamal Cain (17 points, one rebound and two three-pointers) doing his damage off the bench. Carter has reached double figures in scoring in 11 of his last 12 appearances, and he’s been more consistent as a rebounder as well.
