Mbeng played all 48 minutes for the second time in his last three games. During this stretch, he averaged 22.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 7.7 assists and 4.3 steals in 44.7 minutes per game. It has been an impressive run for Mbeng, who signed standard contract last week after playing on two 10-day deals. However, if they do keep him around next season, he won’t play that large of a role.

Tshiebwe was a monster on the glass for a second straight game, but it was his offensive production that was most impressive. He shattered his previous career high of 18 points, which he set during Game 82 last season. Tshiebwe is an incredibly talented rebounder, but he has never gotten the chance to play rotation minutes consistently prior to silly season. That likely won’t change next season, but if it does, he can contribute in fantasy basketball.

Rupert finished the season with three excellent games in a row. A former second round pick on a two-way deal, Rupert has been given plenty of minutes by the Grizzlies in the second half of the season and only flashed his potential. Still just 21, he could be worth stashing in dynasty, but expectations should be tempered.

Clayton will miss a second straight game. On Friday, Lucas Williamson and Jahmai Mashack each played 48 minutes. Expect more strange rotations for Memphis in this one, with Williamson and Mashack likely filling all the backcourt minutes. As for Clayton, the 2025 first-rounder came over to Memphis in the Jaren Jackson Jr. trade and could figure in Memphis’ rotation in 2026-27 if Ja Morant is dealt this offseason. He has some conditional fantasy value, but he’s going to need to shoot better than 38.4 percent to be a major cog going forward.

Just like last season, Tshiebwe has become a rebounding machine in April. This was a new career high for him and his second double-double in his last four games. In a return from a one-game absence with a right knee contusion, Bailey was able to stuff the stat sheet and record the first double-double of his career. Bailey has flashed plenty of upside and has continued to develop as the season has progressed. He won’t turn 20 until August and still has so much room for growth. For the second straight game, Konchar was able to record a triple-double. This was also the fifth straight game that he swiped at least two steals, and he has 22 steals during this stretch. Mbeng signed a two-year deal with the Jazz last week, and after being a rotation piece for a few weeks, he has played big minutes over their last two games. He played well as a starter on Tuesday, and he was even better as a reserve in this game. He was one of three players to record a triple-double in this game, including two off the bench for Utah. Mbeng went undrafted after playing four years at Yale and is perhaps playing himself into a lengthy career.

After being inactive for two games, Rupert was back in the rotation for this game. He came off the bench at first, but he ended up starting the second half. His shot was inefficient, but he was able to contribute across the board in the box score. The former second-round pick signed a two-way deal with Memphis in February and is still only 21 years old. Mashack recorded the dreaded quadruple-double. The triple-double part was nice, but the 10 turnovers really put a damper on his outing. The rookie has had some strong outings this year, specifically as a source of steals. This type of production only happens in April. For a player not selected in the 2025 NBA Draft, it’s highly unlikely that Mbeng would complain about playing too much.
