After racking up eight assists in a March 14 loss to the Celtics, Carrington totaled ten in the four games that followed. While that stretch included a 30-point night, Bub’s growth as a playmaker for others is one of the key storylines for the Wizards over the last month of the season. And that’s with it being clear that Trae Young will be running the show in the future. Carrington recorded eight assists and three turnovers, a solid night despite it occurring in a blowout defeat. The Wizards play three games in Week 22, starting with the Jazz on Wednesday.

Due to the many absences from the Wizards’ rotation, Hardy was given more room to contribute offensively on Sunday. A double-digit scorer in four straight and seven of his last eight appearances, the 25 points are a new season-high for the fourth-year guard. While Hardy has been on a good run recently, his opportunities aren’t a priority compared to Will Riley (11/1/4 with one three-pointer) or, when healthy, Tre Johnson. Redraft league managers should leave Hardy on the waiver wire.

Williams’ 19 points on Saturday were a season-high for him, and he did it on 8-of-9 shooting from the field. He didn’t offer much beyond the points, and one game does not make a player of Williams’ caliber a must-have on any fantasy roster. That said, it was good to see him take advantage of the opportunity placed in front of him in Atlanta.

Melton had a good night despite the Warriors being on the wrong end of a blowout, recording his second 20-point game in his last four outings. He has provided 10th-round value in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break, shooting 41.4 percent from the field. If Melton can clean up the shooting, he becomes a far more valuable fantasy player. The Warriors play four games in Week 22, starting with the Mavericks on Monday.

After totaling six points on 2-of-21 shooting from the field in his prior two appearances, Sarr desperately needed a night like Saturday. While it ended in defeat, the second-year center/forward getting untracked was a great development for the Wizards and those rostering Sarr. Of the three, Green’s status is most important since he’s locked in as a starter. He hasn’t been on the radar of fantasy managers this season, and for good reason, given his lackluster production. However, the rookie’s defensive activity makes him capable of having games like Thursday, where he can do a little bit of everything. Watkins played 27 minutes against the Pistons, matching his season-high in steals and recording a new high in blocks. While coming off the bench limits Vukčević’s fantasy upside, he’s scored in double figures in four of his last five appearances. And the third-year center has two 20-point games during this stretch, including Thursday’s loss to the Pistons. Vukčević made all three of his three-point attempts and missed just one shot from the field overall in his 18 minutes. Johnson has been a fixture in the Wizards’ starting lineup since the team’s final game before the All-Star break, but fantasy managers have seldom reaped the rewards. After consecutive 21-point outings, Riley was limited to 15 points on Thursday. Of the ten games he’s played in March, the rookie has reached double figures in seven. Rostered in five percent of Yahoo! leagues, Payton has largely been an afterthought in fantasy basketball this season. Playing a game in Boston for the first time since being traded to Atlanta last offseason, Porziņǵis logged 23 minutes on Wednesday.
