Goodwin put together one of the best shooting performances of his career in this one, setting new career-high marks for points (26) and three-pointers (eight) as he knocked down a surreal 8-of-13 from beyond the arc. It was the third 20-point performance of his career. His combination of scoring upside and strong rebounding give him some appeal in deeper fantasy leagues but he’ll need to stay hot from distance to be a reliable option.

Sunday’s game was Kispert’s first since December 23, when he exited a loss to the Hornets with a hamstring injury. The former first-round pick had a solid night shooting-wise, making 50 percent of his attempts from the field and knocking down two three-pointers. However, Kispert is not worth the risk in most leagues, even with Kyshawn George (hip) essentially week-to-week. Players like Tre Johnson (13/3/3/1 with one three-pointer) will be a priority for the Wizards, and there will likely come a point when Will Riley (6/3/0/1) figures more prominently in the rotation as well.

McCollum led the way offensively for the Wizards on Sunday, recording his second 20-point game in his last eight appearances. Unfortunately, his ceiling is capped by being on a team whose priority is to give its young players more minutes for development. McCollum has been productive enough to merit being rostered in 12-team leagues, but managers are certainly rooting for him to be moved ahead of the February trade deadline. If not, he could be a shutdown risk. The Wizards begin a four-game Week 12 on Tuesday against the Magic.

Due to his right hamstring, which was initially injured during the preseason and then aggravated in his second appearance, Green has only appeared in two games this season. According to Ott, he is progressing in his recovery. “Some of that, you can measure. Is he 100% strength? He’s there,” Ott said. “So now, this is the ramp up time period onto the court is where he’s at. That’s currently where he’s at. So he’s fully healthy, strong. His sprint speed is good and now we’re going to give him a couple of weeks to play.” Collin Gillespie has filled in admirably in the starting lineup, and he’s worth holding onto until Green is cleared and playing without restrictions.

Gillespie is 15th overall in per game value over the last two weeks. While his rise has mostly happened with Grayson Allen (knee) out of the lineup, don’t expect much to change with Gillespie upon Allen’s eventual return.

Booker’s lone three of the game came in the first quarter, when he put the Kings’ Drew Eubanks on skates and hit a step-back three-pointer. The 29-year-old shooting guard has scored 87 points over his last three games while making only four three-pointers. While it’s a testament to Booker’s scoring ability that he can have that many points without many threes, his 30 percent three-point shooting percentage this year would be a career-low. He’s provided seventh-round per game value over the last two weeks. Booker and the Suns close out the week against the Thunder on Sunday.

Carrington had a great impact on Wednesday, coming off the bench to torch the Bucks from behind the three-point line and finish as one of Washington’s top scorers. Along with the scoring and season-high in made three-pointers, the second-year guard also finished as one of Washington’s best facilitators on the night. The defensive counting stats haven’t become a consistent part of Carrington’s game yet, but if he can add a couple of stocks to his nightly lines, he could really take off in the coming years as a fantasy basketball option.

McCollum had shot just 1-of-4 from the field during the fourth quarter in the lead-up to his game-winning pull-up jumper. Yet, with the dagger, he finished as the team’s third-leading scorer on the night and tallied his seventh straight game with at least 14 points and five assists. The veteran guard isn’t putting up eye-opening stat lines at this point, but he remains very involved on the offensive end on a nightly basis. McCollum should continue to put up solid fantasy numbers so long as he is a Washington Wizard.

Brooks kept the Suns afloat in the first half by scoring 20 points before the break. However, he wasn’t able to add to his scoring total in the third or fourth quarter. Brooks has enjoyed the best scoring season of his career this year, and this was poised to be a big night. He just wasn’t able to take advantage of the opportunity. However, he was able to contribute three steals in a game for the first time since mid-November.

He has been given more leeway offensively in Phoenix than he was in either Houston or Memphis, and the approach has not backfired on the Suns.
