Anthony Edwards
MIN • Guard • #5
Anthony Edwards (calf) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Lakers.
Edwards has been dealing with a sore right calf recently, sitting out most of the fourth quarter of Monday’s comeback win over the Thunder. However, the malady did not keep him from making two huge defensive plays in overtime. If he’s unable to play against the Lakers, Nickeil Alexander-Walker is the likely replacement in the starting lineup. Also, rookie Terrence Shannon Jr. has played well recently, earning additional rotation minutes.

Rudy Gobert (back) and Julius Randle (groin, not with team) are out for Thursday’s game against the Lakers.
While Gobert was present for Wednesday’s practice, he did not participate; he only received treatment for his lower back. Randle was not with the team for the session and will not play on Thursday. Naz Reid will remain in the starting lineup. Due to his defensive ability, rookie Jaylen Clark will likely be a starter as well.

James Harden, Kris Dunn, Kawhi Leonard, Derrick Jones Jr. and Ivica Zubac will start Wednesday’s game against the Bulls.
While Leonard is back after missing two games with a foot injury, the Clippers remain without Norman Powell (knee). Dunn will stay in the starting lineup, while Bogdan Bogdanovic and Nicolas Batum return to the bench after starting Monday’s loss to the Pistons. Dunn doesn’t provide much value offensively, but he’s been among the NBA’s best in steals over the past month.

Monte Morris (back) is out for Thursday’s game against the Pelicans.
Morris will miss a third straight game with lower back spasms. With the recent change to the Suns’ starting lineup, as Tyus Jones has moved to the bench in favor of Bradley Beal, Morris will be a spot lower in the pecking order when healthy. He’s unlikely to impact fantasy basketball.

Starting center Nic Claxton is serving a one-game suspension after recording his sixth flagrant foul point of the season during Monday’s loss to the Wizards. Tidjan Salaun (ankle) and Josh Okogie (hamstring) are out for Thursday’s game against the Mavericks.
Salaun will miss a second straight game with a sprained ankle, while Okogie has not appeared in a game since January 31. The absences will not significantly impact fantasy basketball, but more minutes will be available to Seth Curry and Damion Baugh. The latter is worth watching ahead of the “silly season,” as he may be asked to play significant minutes to run out the string.

Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, Josh Hart, OG Anunoby and Ariel Hukporti will start Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.
The Knicks will be without Karl-Anthony Towns, which may not be the worst thing due to the 76ers losing eight straight games. Hukporti will get the start, and the rookie can provide some production in the rebound and blocked shot categories. However, his fantasy ceiling is low despite being allowed to start.

Immanuel Quickley, Gradey Dick, RJ Barrett, Ochai Agbaji and Jakob Poeltl will start Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.
Poeltl makes his return after a seven-game absence with a hip pointer. He’ll start despite being on a minutes restriction, pushing Jonathan Mogbo to the bench. The other change is Agbaji, who fills in for the injured Scottie Barnes (hip). Agbaji and rookie Ja’Kobe Walter will play more minutes with Barnes unavailable.

Al Horford
BOS • Center-Forward • #42

Derrick White, Jrue Holiday, Jayson Tatum, Al Horford and Kristaps Porzingis will start Wednesday’s game against the Pistons.
Holiday, Horford and Porzingis are available after sitting out Tuesday’s win over the Raptors, but the Celtics are without Jaylen Brown (thigh). As a result, Horford will start rather than be the first player off the bench. Due to Brown’s absence, Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser will have added value as reserves.

Zach Collins
CHI • Forward-Center • #12
Zach Collins (shin) and Kevin Huerter (quad) are available for Wednesday’s game against the Clippers.
Collins and Huerter are available after initially being probable for Wednesday’s game. The former will continue to serve as the starting center with Nikola Vucevic (calf) out of the lineup. As for Huerter, he will figure prominently off the bench, and he’s worth having in deep leagues where there is a need for three-point production.

Dennis Schroder (ankle) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Celtics.
Schroder has been downgraded from questionable to out, freeing up rotation minutes within the Pistons’ second unit. Marcus Sasser may pick up additional minutes, but he’s unlikely to impact fantasy basketball as Cade Cunningham’s backup.

Tyrese Haliburton (groin) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Raptors.

Karl-Anthony Towns
NYK • Center-Forward • #32
Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) is out for Wednesday’s game against the 76ers, but OG Anunoby (foot) is available.
The Knicks will play Wednesday’s game without one starter, not two. Towns’ absence pushes Ariel Hukporti into the starting lineup. The rookie can be a solid rebounder and shot-blocker, but he offers limited fantasy upside. As for Anunoby, he has struggled recently but will figure prominently in the offensive attack, especially with Towns out.

DaQuan Jeffries
CHA • Guard-Forward • #3
DaQuan Jeffries (knee) and Wendell Moore Jr. (concussion) are questionable for Thursday’s game against the Mavericks.
Jeffries has missed Charlotte’s last four games with a left knee injury and has lost rotation minutes. Moore, who played 28 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to the Warriors, has been placed in the league’s concussion protocol. Jeffries and Moore’s availability will not significantly impact fantasy basketball.

Seth Curry
CHA • Guard • #30
Seth Curry (back) is probable for Thursday’s game against the Mavericks.
Curry scored 14 points in 17 minutes off the bench in Tuesday’s loss to the Warriors. He hasn’t done enough to merit much consideration in fantasy leagues, but the Hornets’ injuries have freed up rotation minutes on the perimeter. Look for Curry to hit the teens in minutes if he’s allowed to play against the Mavericks.

LaMelo Ball

LaMelo Ball (ankle) is not on the injury report for Thursday’s game against the Mavericks.
Ball did not play in Tuesday’s loss to the Warriors, which was Charlotte’s second game in as many nights. He’ll be back for the final game of the team’s road trip, which means KJ Simpson will return to the bench after starting against Golden State.

Ayo Dosunmu
CHI • Guard • #11
Ayo Dosunmu (shoulder) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Clippers.
Initially questionable, Dosunmu still has soreness in his shoulder and will miss a third straight game. His absence has freed up additional minutes for Kevin Huerter and Tre Jones. While the latter can provide assists and a low turnover count, Huerter offers a higher ceiling in the points and three-point categories.

Trae Young
ATL • Guard • #11
Trae Young (Achilles) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Heat.
As expected, Young is available for Wednesday’s game. The Hawks have consistently listed him as probable, only to clear him to play. Young will take on his usual responsibilities as the starting point guard, and he has been one of the most productive players in fantasy basketball at his position.

Giannis Antetokounmpo
MIL • Forward • #34
Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) is probable for Thursday’s game against the Nuggets.
Antetokounmpo has not missed a game since returning from a strained calf, but his minutes have been restricted. The limit was increased to 32 minutes ahead of Milwaukee’s last two contests, so Giannis is closing in on being allowed to play starters’ minutes.

Pat Connaughton
MIL • Guard • #24
Pat Connaughton (calf) is out for Thursday’s game against the Nuggets.
Connaughton has missed Milwaukee’s last two games with a strained calf, and Thursday’s absence will push the unfortunate streak to three. His absence will not impact fantasy basketball, as the veteran wing has been on the back end of the Bucks’ rotation when healthy.

Quentin Grimes
PHI • Guard • #5
Quentin Grimes (knee) and Justin Edwards (ankle) are available for Wednesday’s game against the Knicks.
Grimes is available after injuring his knee during Monday’s loss to the Bulls, and he has been a consistent starter recently. Look for him to retain that role against the team that selected him in the 2021 draft. As for Edwards, the rookie can provide value off the bench, and he may be increasingly valuable during the “silly season.”

Jaylen Brown
BOS • Guard-Forward • #7
Jaylen Brown (thigh) will not play in Wednesday’s game against the Pistons.
Brown suffered a left thigh contusion during Tuesday’s win over the Raptors, with the injury initially believed to be a bone bruise. Jrue Holiday is available, meaning the Celtics will only be without one starter. Al Horford will move into the starting lineup.

Kristaps Porzingis (illness) and Sam Hauser (back) are available for Wednesday’s game against the Pistons.
Porzingis is available after being a late scratch for Tuesday’s win in Toronto. Hauser was one of the replacements in the starting lineup, as the Celtics were also without Jrue Holiday and Al Horford. With Jaylen Brown (leg) ruled out for Wednesday, Hauser will play additional minutes despite being a reserve. If so, he would be worth streaming in deep leagues.

Jakob Poeltl
TOR • Center • #19
Jakob Poeltl (hip) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.
Poeltl is available after missing seven games with a right hip pointer. However, his minutes will be restricted in his first game back. 2 months ago
Scottie Barnes (hip) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.
A late addition to the injury report, Barnes will not play in the second game of Toronto’s back-to-back. Gradey Dick, who is already a starter, may see his usage increase, while Ochai Agbaji and Ja’Kobe Walter should play more minutes. One of those two is likely to move into the starting lineup.

P.J. Washington
DAL • F • #25
PJ Washington (ankle) and Dwight Powell (hip) are questionable for Thursday’s game against the Hornets.
Washington has not missed a game since the All-Star break, but his ankle injury lingers. Powell played 16 minutes on Tuesday in his first game in just over one month. Washington’s availability is more impactful to fantasy basketball, especially with Anthony Davis (groin) out. There’s no need to roster Powell if he’s available to play.

Andrew Wiggins

Andrew Wiggins (jaw) and Kel’el Ware (ankle) are available for Wednesday’s game against the Hawks.

T.J. McConnell (ankle) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Raptors.
McConnell will miss a second straight game with a sprained right ankle. With Tyrese Haliburton expected to be available, the Pacers’ starting point guard will likely log more minutes, with the team going to a nine-man rotation. Haliburton played 40 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Nuggets.

Rudy Gobert
MIN • Center • #27
Rudy Gobert (back) and Julius Randle (groin, not with team) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
Gobert, who has missed the last four games with lower back spasms, only received treatment during Timberwolves’ practice. As for Randle, who has missed the last seven games with a strained groin, he was not with the team for the session. Neither player appears on track to return for Thursday’s game against the Lakers, meaning Naz Reid will remain in the starting lineup. Jaylen Clark has started the last two games, and the need to match up with Luka Doncic and LeBron James may keep him in that role.
