Not only did Etienne finish Friday’s loss with a career-high point total, but this was his first 20-point game as a pro. The Nets’ guard has reached double figures in consecutive games four times in his two-year NBA career, with three of those streaks occurring this season. Etienne should continue to play rotation minutes in Sunday’s season finale against the Raptors, as the Nets are shorthanded on the perimeter.

Etienne struggled from the field on Thursday in his 39 minutes on the floor. He was particularly cold inside the arc, with his efficient three-point shooting being the positive on the evening. Etienne has reached double figures in four of his last five appearances. In Monday’s blowout defeat, he established a new career-high with 18 points, shooting 4-of-7 from beyond the arc. While the recent production has been nice, there’s no reason to consider adding Etienne in any fantasy leagues. The Nets play three more games in Week 22, so there should be a few more opportunities for Etienne to play extended minutes.
