With Darius Garland (toe) sidelined, Porter slid into the starting unit, and while he didn’t do much scoring, he was able to set up plenty of offense as a playmaker. Porter matched his career high for dimes in the win, which was a nice boost for fantasy managers that streamed him in. If Garland ends up missing an extended period of time, Porter should be able to maintain value as a streamer, especially for teams that don’t need more points.

Porter will fill Darius Garland’s spot in the starting lineup as he is sidelined with the same toe injury that has given him trouble all season. Porter has been able to stuff the stat sheet when he’s gotten the opportunity to play big minutes this year. It’s possible this ends up being more than a one-game absence for Garland, so Porter could hold some long-term value.

Mitchell is back after sitting out Tuesday’s win over the Pacers, but that isn’t the only change to the Cavaliers’ starting lineup. Porter, who recorded nine assists, two steals and three blocks on Tuesday, has been rewarded with a spot start. As a result of these changes, Sam Merrill and Dean Wade will come off the bench.

Porter is back after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Hornets. While he may play some rotation minutes off the bench, Porter is not worth rostering when Darius Garland and Lonzo Ball are available.

Porter did not play in Friday’s loss to the Bulls, with his absence contributing to increased playing time for Tyrese Proctor and Lonzo Ball. However, with Donovan Mitchell on track to play, Porter may fall out of the rotation entirely.

Porter was initially listed as questionable and has now officially been ruled out. Tyrese Proctor should see a bump in minutes off the bench, and with Donovan Mitchell (illness) also sidelined, Proctor could be in for a big night.

While Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell are good to go for Sunday’s matchup, the Cavaliers won’t have reserve Lonzo Ball (knee) available. Porter will be able to absorb the minutes that would have gone to Ball, but this is not a good spot to find reliable fantasy value. Leave him on the waiver wire.

Porter has missed Cleveland’s last three games with a strained left hamstring. With Lonzo Ball (knee) unavailable, the Cavaliers will need Porter to step into the backup point guard role. However, that isn’t a spot for good fantasy value, as Darius Garland is available to start.

Porter, who is dealing with a strained left hamstring, will miss a third straight game on Friday. His absence does not significantly impact fantasy basketball, as Darius Garland and Lonzo Ball are healthy. Those two will handle the point guard responsibilities, as they have for most of the season.

Porter has missed Cleveland’s last two games with a strained left hamstring. While his absence may not impact fantasy basketball by itself, it does leave the Cavaliers down an option in the backcourt. Darius Garland will be available after sitting out Monday’s loss to the Raptors for injury management reasons, so Cleveland should be fine regarding perimeter depth.

Porter is out with a strained hamstring, and the Cavaliers will also be without Lonzo Ball for injury management reasons. They’ll ask even more of starters Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell on Sunday, which is the first of two games in as many nights for Cleveland.

Porter Jr. has long been a dynasty sleeper, and when he’s gotten the opportunity to play big minutes, he has been productive. His biggest weakness has been his deep-range shooting, but he showed improvement by making all five of his three-point attempts in this one. It’s too early to say that he’s made a genuine leap, but it’s worth keeping an eye on, since he has the potential to be a fantasy stud.
