There’s just one change to the 76ers’ starting lineup: Walker replaces Justin Edwards. While the change gives Walker a shot at providing value, he is not a must-stream player.

To get a player of Walker’s experience level on a two-way contract is a shrewd piece of business by the 76ers. The 57th overall pick in the 2022 draft, Walker appeared in 60 games last season, averaging 5.2 points and 3.5 rebounds in 12.5 minutes. During the 2023-24 campaign, Walker started 23 of the 72 games he played, averaging 8.9 points and 7.1 rebounds in 23.6 minutes. With a healthy Joel Embiid and Andre Drummond, Walker’s minutes will likely be limited next season, but he’ll have some value on nights when Philadelphia is shorthanded in the post.

Walker has been out since suffering a concussion during a March 12 loss to the Knicks. His absence has freed up rotation minutes for Duop Reath, who has not done enough to merit being rostered. However, with Donovan Clingan (illness) also questionable for Sunday’s game, Reath may have added value on Sunday.

This will be a fourth-straight absence for Walker since he took an elbow to the jaw courtesy of Karl-Anthony Towns last week. Duop Reath will continue to fill out the backup center minutes behind Donovan Clingan, where he has scored in double figures in two straight games.

Walker remains in the league’s concussion protocol and will not be available for Sunday’s game. His absence means more rotation minutes for Duop Reath, especially if Robert Williams remains out with a knee injury. If Williams can play, there wouldn’t be much to gain from streaming Reath in most leagues.

Walker took a Karl-Anthony Towns elbow to the jaw during Wednesday’s loss to the Knicks and did not return to the game. Blazers coach Chauncey Billups said on Friday that Walker has entered concussion protocol, so he’s unlikely to be available for Sunday’s game against the Raptors.

Walker exited Wednesday’s game during the third quarter after taking an inadvertent Karl-Anthony Towns elbow to the jaw. He is being evaluated for a potential concussion, which could result in a multi-game absence. If so, Duop Reath’s minutes may increase, especially if Robert Williams is under a minutes restriction.

Walker is available after initially being questionable for Sunday’s game. He’ll play rotation minutes off the bench, serving as Donovan Clingan’s backup. Walker can provide late-round value in deep leagues but does not qualify as a must-add player.

On a night when Donovan Clingan (two points, seven rebounds, one assist and one block in 20 minutes) didn’t have much of an impact, Walker stepped up with a big night off the bench. The 22 points were a season-high for the Blazers forward, who shot 6-of-6 from beyond the arc. While an afterthought in most fantasy leagues, Walker has provided 14th-round value in nine-cat formats since the All-Star break, which aligns with Clingan’s value. He certainly isn’t a must-add, but deep-league managers should not overlook Walker while the Blazers remain without Deandre Ayton and Robert Williams III.
