Highsmith tallied his best stat line of the season on Monday, needing just 19 minutes of game action to do so. In this single game, he scored more points, made more free throws, and tallied more three-pointers than he had combined in his previous four appearances this season. Highsmith’s role likely won’t change much as a result of Monday’s performance. He’s not someone worth rostering in fantasy leagues.

On the heels of hot-shooting, back-to-back 30-point performances, Green’s production cooled on Monday. In the loss, he narrowly made it past the 20-point mark, which he needed high-volume shooting to do. The first-year Phoenix Sun also had little impact as a passer. Yet, Green secured a team-high in rebounds to help boost his overall fantasy production on the night. He’ll have a chance to bounce back on Tuesday against the Timberwolves.

Booker hit the 40-point mark for the second time in the past three games on Monday after not having done so at all previously this season. He shot the ball more efficiently this time around, despite some struggles from beyond the arc. Booker also logged one of his higher turnover performances of the season. Yet, the scoring and solid playmaking are arguably what stand out most in this game from a fantasy perspective. He’s unlocked another level of scoring lately, which could be beneficial in the fantasy playoffs.

Booker was one of two Suns to surpass 30 points on Friday, with Jalen Green’s 34 leading the way. Book has now scored 30 points or more in four of his last five appearances, getting hot at the right time for fantasy managers. Since March 1, he has been a top-20 player in eight-cat formats, according to Basketball Monster. The Suns are done for Week 20, but they’ve got five games in Week 21.

Green has scored 24 points or more in five straight games, his most productive run of the season to date. The 34 points on Friday were two shy of his season high, set Thursday night against the Pacers. Fantasy managers will hope that Green can carry this production over into Week 21, as the Suns are scheduled to play five games. With two back-to-backs, he may not be a lock to play in all five, but three games of Green at this level is nothing to scoff at.

With Goodwin recently returning from a calf strain, his ability to play both games of the Suns’ back-to-back is encouraging. However, his fantasy potential is limited since the Suns are otherwise healthy on the perimeter.

Allen sat out Thursday’s matchup with the Pacers, and Goodwin played. The pair may swap statuses on Friday, as Phoenix plays the second leg of its back-to-back set. Allen should see his normal workload and could earn a few more minutes if Goodwin is ultimately sidelined.

This was a fantastic showing for Phoenix’s two star guards. Both Green and Devin Booker set new season-highs for scoring, and Green is now averaging 27.5 points while shooting 50.6 percent from the floor over his last four games. Injuries have made this a frustrating season for Green, but he has been productive since the All-Star break. He’ll look to stay hot in Toronto on Thursday to wrap up the week.

Booker is one of the best scorers in the league, but it has been a disappointing season overall for him. However, he put that aside for this game and ended up setting a new season high for scoring. The Suns have now won four in a row and six of their last seven, and Booker has been on fire, averaging 29.3 points per game over the last two weeks.

This will be a third straight absence for Allen, which means Jordan Goodwin, Haywood Highsmith and Rasheer Fleming should continue to take on extra minutes off the bench. None have contributed enough to be worth rostering in most fantasy formats.

Initially questionable, Highsmith will play on Thursday. While his production has not been good enough to affect fantasy basketball, there will be a few more rotation minutes available to Highsmith since Grayson Allen is out.

Goodwin had missed seven games with a calf injury before returning to play 14 minutes against the Bucks on Tuesday. He was on the injury report for injury management reasons, but it seems like he will be able to suit up on Thursday. We would still expect something about 20 minutes as he works his way back.

The Suns play on Thursday and Friday, so Highsmith may be held out of one of those games for injury management reasons. Look for Rasheer Fleming to play more minutes, especially if Grayson Allen and Jordan Goodwin can’t play, either.

Goodwin is on the report for calf injury management reasons, as Thursday’s game is the first of two in as many nights for the Suns. With Rasheer Fleming and Grayson Allen also questionable, Rasheer Fleming may be asked to take on a more significant workload against the lottery-bound Pacers.

Allen has missed Phoenix’s last two games, with Jordan Goodwin, Haywood Highsmith and rookie Rasheer Fleming picking up additional minutes off the bench. None have done enough to be worth the risk in fantasy leagues, but all have been solid contributors for a Suns team that continues to exceed expectations.

In the nine games he played since the All-Star break, Green averaged 17.6 points while shooting 35.3 percent from the field. Against the Bucks, the Suns guard cleaned up the shooting, making 50 percent of his attempts while also recording solid numbers in the rebound and assist categories. Green has failed to provide top-150 value since the All-Star break; hopefully, Tuesday’s performance is the spark that he’s needed.

It didn’t take Booker long to get into a groove after enduring a period in which he missed 12 of 15 games due to injury. After scoring 17 points in his first game back, the Suns guard has scored 27 or more in four straight. His line against the Bucks included solid value in the rebound and assist categories. Booker has been a top-20 player in eight-cat formats over the past week, according to Basketball Monster.

Rostered in 14 percent of Yahoo! leagues, O’Neale is effectively a specialist in fantasy basketball, being most valuable to managers needing three-pointers and steals. He came up big on Tuesday, especially during the third quarter. O’Neale scored 18 points in the frame, shooting 6-of-8 from beyond the arc, including a heave from half court to end the period. Add in the rebounds, assists and steals, and this was a good start to O’Neale’s Week 20. The Suns play two more games, a back-to-back on Thursday and Friday against the Pacers and Raptors.

Allen will miss his second game in a row as he continues to manage a knee injury. Haywood Highsmith picked up rotation minutes with Allen out Sunday, but isn’t worth considering in fantasy leagues.

Goodwin has missed seven straight games, but he’ll get back on the court to face Milwaukee on the road. He should see meaningful minutes in Phoenix’s rotation while Dillon Brooks is out, and Goodwin should remain part of the rotation when Brooks returns.

Goodwin has missed the Suns’ last seven games, last seeing action on February 21 in a win over the Magic. He was able to play some 5-on-5 on Sunday, and the questionable tag suggests that Goodwin’s calf has responded well in the aftermath of that session. His return will give the Suns additional depth on the wings as they await Dillon Brooks’ return from a fractured hand.

A late addition to the injury report ahead of Sunday’s win over the Hornets, Allen did not play. Haywood Highsmith picked up rotation minutes off the bench, but he was not productive enough to impact fantasy basketball. The player to watch if Allen remains out may be rookie Rasheer Fleming, who recorded season-highs in points and three-pointers on Sunday.

With no Dillon Brooks or Grayson Allen, there was room for Fleming to play 23 minutes off the bench on Sunday. And the rookie took advantage of his opportunity, recording season-highs in points and three-pointers. While Fleming did not record any defensive stats, he was solid when called upon to defend Charlotte’s LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller. Sunday’s performance won’t change much regarding Fleming’s short-term fantasy value, but he’s a player worth keeping an eye on in dynasty formats.

At this point, not much that Gillespie does comes as a surprise. The Suns guard had another excellent night on Sunday, with the 24 points being the most in a game for him since dropping 30 in a February 3 win over the Trail Blazers. Gillespie’s rise from a player looking to lock down a rotation spot to solidifying himself as the Suns’ starting point guard should put him in Most Improved Player conversations. The Suns and fantasy managers have reaped the rewards.

Booker’s ability to get to the foul line paid dividends on Sunday, as the Suns guard made all 15 of his attempts. Add in the assists, and Booker finished with his second 30-point, 10-assist game of the season. Since the All-Star break, he’s shot 40 percent from the field, which has lowered Booker’s fantasy value in the short term. Clean up that category, and Booker is well-equipped to approach the heights that many fantasy managers thought he would before the season began.

Having scored at least 20 points in three of his last four games, Green has averaged 17.6 points per game since the All-Star break. However, he’s still working to find his groove, as evidenced by the Suns guard shooting 35.3 percent from the field during this stretch. The Suns hit the road for all three of their games in Week 20, starting with the Bucks on Tuesday.

Added to the injury report on Sunday afternoon, Allen was listed as probable. Now he’s out, which leaves the Suns down another rotation guard. Amir Coffey and Haywood Highsmith, who played two seconds in his Suns’ debut on Thursday, could pick up some playing time with Allen unavailable.

Goodwin strained his left calf during a February 21 win over Orlando and was given a re-evaluation timeline of one to two weeks. Whether he’s available for Tuesday’s game will depend on how Goodwin’s calf responds to Sunday’s 5-on-5 session. Once available, he’ll provide additional depth on the perimeter, which is needed with Dillon Brooks (hand) sidelined.

Allen wasn’t on the original injury report, but popped up Sunday afternoon as probable for the game against the Hornets with right knee injury management. The 30-year-old is still likely to play given his probable listing, but his status is worth monitoring. With Royce O’Neale (foot) questionable, Allen should have a good workload as long as he’s available.
