García was able to draw a pair of walks as well. His three-run homer gave the Rangers a 13-1 lead in the sixth, and gave García eight homers in 2025. That’s his first homer in the month of June, and just his third extra-base hit since the calendar turned over.

Burger smoked a solo homer off Bailey Ober; one of four homers that Ober allowed and one of six that the Rangers hit overall. The 29-year-old infielder also singled in two runs to give Texas a 10-1 lead. After an atrocious start to his season, Burger is starting to see some results to improve his slash to .225/.255/.421 with 10 homers and 28 RBI.

Carter socked one of six homers for the Rangers in the blowout victory, and his was a solo shot off Bailey Ober in the fifth inning. He’s up to four homers on the year, and his steal gives him five. Those numbers are more impressive when you remember that Carter has only played in 19 games, and it’s a wonderful reminder of why he was considered one of the top prospects in baseball, and a big reason the Rangers won a title in 2023. Carter has the upside to be a fantasy stalwart throughout his career.

Langford and the Rangers were able to hit a whopping six homers in the contest, and Texas was also able to draw nine walks while picking up 16 hits. Langford was responsible for two of those free passes on top of a three-run shot off Bailey Ober in the second inning. The 23-year-old was hitting just .176 with a .510 OPS in June, so the hope is this is the spring forward for the talented outfielder to get back to doing what he does best.

Walker started in right field, but he got to play only three innings there before the game was delayed and then suspended due to rain. He’ll presumably play for Memphis again tonight, but it should be a rather short rehab assignment for Walker, who has been on the IL since May 31 with wrist inflammation.
