It’ll be made up as a doubleheader on Thursday instead with Tigers ace Tarik Skubal facing Andrew Heaney in the front-end of the twin bill. The reigning American League Player of the Week will take a seat for precautionary reasons during Tuesday’s series opener with Evan Carter, who has been on a hot streak of his own, bumping up to the leadoff spot. The versatile 27-year-old has been on fire at the dish recently, hitting .356 (21-for-59) with three homers, eight RBI and three stolen bases over his last 15 games. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now.
