Rockies interim manager Warren Schaeffer told reporters afterwards that he was forced to take Estrada out of the one-sided contest in the seventh inning because he couldn’t hold a bat after being hit by a pitch. He missed time earlier this year with a right wrist fracture. The 29-year-old will undergo further evaluation and imaging to determine the exact nature and severity of the issue.
