Alonso had a two-run homer off Carlos Rodón in the fifth and then a three-run shot off Jayvien Sandridge that pretty much put the game away in the seventh. It’s his 24th career two-homer game and 12th with five RBI. He’s back up third in the majors with 73 RBI; both he and Eugenio Suárez are two behind Seiya Suzuki and one back of Cal Raleigh.

Winker will get in one final minor league rehab contest on Sunday before returning to New York for Tuesday’s game at Camden Yards. The 31-year-old veteran DH has been out since early May recovering from a right oblique strain.

The 32-year-old first baseman left Saturday’s game against the Marlins with left thumb discomfort and could wind up getting a few additional days off this coming week. He’s officially day-to-day for the moment.
