There haven’t been any rumblings about any sort of injury for Hoskins, but this is the second time that he has found himself on the pine in the team’s last four ballgames. Jake Bauers will start in his place at first base and bat seventh against Marlins’ right-hander Sandy Alcantara.

Megill’s save was No. 19 on the season for him. The 31-year-old right-hander has run with the Brewers’ closer job since Devin Williams was injured last season. Megill had 21 saves last year and is approaching that number before the All-Star break this year. He lowered his ERA to 2.64 with the scoreless inning.

Priester gave up seven hits, walked two and struck out two. The 24-year-old right-hander may have picked the wrong time for a subpar start with Brandon Woodruff’s return to the rotation seemingly imminent. Priester followed up his 11-strikeout performance against the Rockies with a clunker against the Marlins. He’ll take a 3.59 ERA into his start against the Dodgers at home next week if he’s still with the Brewers.

The 30-year-old slugger hit the open market at the end of June when he was released by the Mariners. Tellez hit just .208/.249/.434 with 11 homers in 185 plate appearances for the M’s. He’ll add depth for the Rangers, but his days of fantasy relevancy appear to be in the rearview mirror.
