Sheehan followed Shohei Ohtani on Saturday in bulk relief against the Giants. After three scoreless innings from Ohtani, Sheehan took over and kept the Giants off the board into the eighth. He’d leave with two runners on and one out. One inherited runner would come in to score. Sheehan struck out three. The 25-year-old right-hander picks up his first win over the season and holds a 2.03 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and a 13/4 K/BB ratio across 13 1/3 innings of work.

Ozuna, who didn’t play Friday, has two homers in three games after going 21 games without one. It doesn’t seem like his hip is going to allow him to be his usual self during the second half, but the four days off will probably do him some good.

Schwarber is now up to 30 homers on the season, and that’s the fifth consecutive season the 32-year-old has reached that mark. He’s now also driven in 69 runs, and a homer and along with a walk has his OPS up to .944. Schwarber should remain as consistent of power threat as there is in the sport, because that’s what he’s done since the start of the decade.
