ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Eagles DT Jalen Carter (shoulders) is expected to be back next week in time to play in Week 17 against the Bills.

Carter underwent surgery on both shoulders less than three weeks ago and has been out ever since. Appearing in 10 games this year, Carter has two sacks, four TFLs, and six passes defended. Even after winning the NFC East yesterday, the Eagles are still fighting for a better seed, including an outside shot at the No. 1 seed. Getting Carter back will help them keep the dream alive versus Buffalo next week.
