Commanders agreed to terms with LS Tyler Ott, formerly of the Ravens.

The Commanders struggled to find a long snapper who was capable of sending consistently long snaps to his intended target last season. Some would say he was more of a short snapper. Now, Ott, who is well-renowned for snapping snaps a long-distance will join the Commanders and special teams coordinator Larry Izzo, who worked with Ott in Seattle.
