Trevor Lawrence completed 21-of-32 passes for 308 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the Jaguars’ 30-27, Week 8 loss to the Packers, adding four carries for 10 yards and a touchdown.

Lawrence also lost a fumble. The three-touchdown effort was his first of 2024, while the 300-yard passing performance was just his second. It came in spite of the fact that Gabe Davis (shoulder), Christian Kirk (shoulder) and Brian Thomas Jr. (chest) all left the game with injury and did not return. Davis was lost in the second quarter, Thomas the third, and Kirk the fourth. Ouch. Lawrence made some big plays, including his read-option rushing score, but his lost fumble inside his own five-yard line was probably the difference in the game. Lawrence felt the pressure too late and let the ball get knocked out of his hand. It’s always something with this team this season. Lawrence can now only wait and hold his breath on his receivers’ injuries ahead of a Week 9 road date with the Eagles.
