Will Reichard

Will Reichard

MINK • #16

Vikings selected Alabama K Will Reichard with the No. 203 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Reichard (6’1/187) won the starting kicking job as a true freshman at Alabama but only appeared in five games because of an injury. He went 4-of-7 on field goal tries and hit all but one of his 22 PATs. Reichard would keep the kicking duties for the next four seasons. He was automatic on PATs, going a stunning 295-of-297 in his career. Reichard was good on field goals as well, knocking 84 of his 100 tries through the uprights. The rare five-year starter at kicker, Reichard set the all-time FBS record for points late in his final season. Reichard doesn’t have a cannon for a leg but is as good as it gets from inside 50. Reichard will compete with John Parker Romo for the kicking job in training camp, though it would be a stunner if he didn’t win the battle.
