Jordan Elliott

Elliott, per a team statement, was involved in what the team cryptically refers to as “an incident at our team facility” on October 15. He was a healthy scratch this weekend and was let go on Tuesday after signing a two-year contract this offseason. The club has refused further comment.

Elliott played under new Titans head coach Robert Saleh with the 49ers and should work into the defensive rotation alongside Jermaine Johnson, Jeffery Simmons, and John Franklin-Myers. His addition now brings the total of new faces along the defensive line to three for a Titans franchise looking to turn over a new stone moving forward.

The 49ers continue to rack up injuries on defense. Elliott played 18 snaps before being ruled out, and Alfred Collins will assume a bigger role going forward with Elliott out.
