Olson’s streak of four games with a homer ended in the second game of Tuesday’s doubleheader, but five days in a row is still something. Alas, that’s going to come to an end tomorrow, since the Braves have the day off. Olson has 28 homers, 92 RBI and a .281 average nearly 30 points higher than his career mark of .254.

Drake Baldwin came off the bench and doubled in the go-ahead run before Olson essentially put the game away. It was Olson’s lone hit, so his streak of games with a home run concluded at four. The triple was his second of the season and seventh ever in 1,213 major league games.

Olson has also had multiple hits in each game, going 10-for-18 with three doubles to pair with the four homers. The stretch has raised his OPS from .827 to .862 and given him a shot of reaching 30 homers (three away) and 100 RBI (12 away). He came in at 29 homers and 98 RBI last year, ending a streak of three straight 30-100 seasons.

Olson hit a three-run blast off Mitchell Parker for his 26th homer of 2025. He also doubled in a run in the seventh to extend Atlanta’s lead to 7-1 and extend Olson’s RBI total to 87. The 31-year-old has been solid in 2025 with a .277/.372/.483 slash, and while it’s far from one of his best campaigns, it certainly keeps him relevant in all eligible fantasy formats.

Olson got the Braves on the board with a 424-foot (108.5 mph EV) solo shot off of Hunter Brown in the fourth inning, pulling the Braves to within five runs at 6-1. He also led off the seventh inning with a single and scored on a two-out single off the bat of Ha-Seong Kim. For the season, the 31-year-old slugger is now hitting .271/.367/.466 with 24 long balls and 82 RBI.

This was a major shift from the heater that Suárez has been on of late. Coming into this start, he’d struck out 22 batters over his last two starts and allowed just two earned runs. Here, the Braves knocked him around for six hits over the first two innings and it was a minor miracle he didn’t give up more runs. He’ll try to get back on track next time out against the Brewers.

The Braves offense couldn’t muster up more than one run despite 12 total hits in this game. As a team, they went 2-for-12 with runners in scoring position and left 10 men on base in a one-run loss. Of Olson’s three hits, none went for extra-bases or brought anyone home. We’re finally getting towards the end of a season that all Braves fans and players cannot wait to forget.

Olson worked Aaron Nola for a walk in the top half of the first inning and came around to score on a two-run single off the bat of Michael Harris II. He then tagged Nola for a 378-foot (101.1 mph EV) solo shot in the sixth inning that pulled the Braves to within 11 runs at 15-4. He drew a pair of walks in the ballgame, reaching base safely in three of his four plate appearances. For the season, the 31-year-old slugger is now slashing .266/.364/.456 with 21 long balls and 75 RBI.

Olson smacked a one-out double off of Shane Smith in the first inning and rode home on a two-run blast by Michael Harris II. He then singled in the seventh inning and scored as Drake Baldwin worked a bases-loaded walk. The 31-year-old slugger also doubled in the eighth inning and scored the go-ahead run on Baldwin’s two-run single. Olson hadn’t homered since July 20, and he still hasn’t had a multi-RBI game during the second half. His .262 average is a little better than expected and he’s beating his OPS from last year, but with 19 homers and 70 RBI in 118 games, he’ll need to pick up the pace a little to get to 30 HR/100 RBI for the fourth time in his career.

The Braves had plenty of traffic on the basepaths in the ballgame with eight hits and a pair of walks, but they were unable to deliver a timely hit when they needed it most. Olson singled in the first inning to put two men on with no outs, but the next three hitters went down in order to end that threat. He also singled in the fifth to put two men on with only one out, but once again those runners never advanced. With his three-hit attack, the 31-year-old slugger is now hitting .266/.366/.475 with 18 homers and 64 RBI on the season.

Olson continues to tear it up at the plate after hitting .313 in June. He doubled and scored in the first inning, then slugged a solo homer to lead off the third. A base hit drove in a run in the fourth before drawing a pair of walks. The 31-year-old slugger is slashing .271/.372/.495 with 17 homers, 49 runs scored, and 58 RBI across 387 plate appearances.

The Braves had a furious, two-out rally which led them to victory here and Olson put the exclamation point on it with his grand slam. After singles by Jurickson Profar and Ozzie Albies knocked Yusei Kikuchi out of this game with two outs in the sixth inning, Sean Murphy launched a three-run home run to give Atlanta their first lead. Then, Angels’ reliever Ryan Zeferjahn allowed a single to Michael Harris II and walked both ninth hitter Nick Allen and Ronald Acuña Jr. which set Olson up for his grand slam. It was his first RBI in over a week and first home run in two weeks as he and his Braves try to shake loose from the malaise that’s overcome their season.

The Braves scored all of their runs between the sixth and eighth innings tonight, with Olson driving in runs in both frames. He’s made a big charge over the last month, hitting .308 with eight homers, 14 doubles and 31 RBI in his last 34 games to raise his OPS from .720 to .844, and he has a good case for the third All-Star appearance of his career next month.

Olson has occupied the second spot on Atlanta’s lineup card for three consecutive contests with Austin Riley and Drake Baldwin hitting cleanup and fifth, respectively, on Tuesday night after sharing the position directly behind top-of-the-order igniter Ronald Acuña Jr. in recent weeks. It’s a slight boost for Olson, who should pick up a couple additional at-bats over the course of the next few weeks as a result of the move. The 31-year-old slugging first baseman has been red-hot of late, batting .309 (17-for-55) with two homers and 15 RBI over his last 15 games. He’s also walked 11 times during that span.

That’s a sweep for Atlanta. Olson’s bases-loaded double broke the game open in the sixth. He’s batting .321/.451/.607 with three homers and 17 RBI in 71 plate appearances during the month of June, and his current .850 OPS is his highest mark since the second game of the season.

Olson got the Braves on the board first in this one as he plated Ronald Acuna Jr. on a fielder’s choice in the top half of the first inning. He then smacked a go-ahead two-run double off of Landen Roupp in the third that gave the Giants a 3-1 advantage, that would be the extent of their offense in the game. The 31-year-old slugger is now hitting .236/.342/.460 with 13 long balls and 37 RBI through his first 64 games on the season.

With Atlanta trailing by a pair of runs, Olson swatted a two-run homer off Ryan Walker in the seventh to tie things up. It’s the 13th homer of the season for the 31-year-old, which puts him on pace for right around 33 homers in the 2025 campaign. For most hitters that’s an excellent season, for someone like Olson that fantasy managers are relying on as a major homer threat, it’s just ok.

Olson took Sean Reynolds deep for a solo homer in the third inning for his only hit of the game. It was Olson’s five home run in the last eight days. The 31-year-old slugger is up to 12 on the season while hitting .243/.347/.481 with 30 runs scored and 29 RBI across 222 plate appearances.

Olson is 5-for-9 the last two days, raising his average to .232. He’s up to nine homers for the year, but Statcast still thinks he should have more; he entered the night with an xSLG of .508, compared to an actual mark of .405.

Olson took Andrew Heaney deep for a solo homer in the third inning for Atlanta’s second run of the game. It was still a 2-2 contest in the 11th inning when Olson started the inning on second base and scored the game-winning run on a wild pitch. The 31-year-old first baseman is hitting .221/.353/.407 with seven homers and 21 RBI across 170 plate appearances.

Olson’s home run was the extent of the Braves’ offense here as they were completely stifled by Yoshinobu Yamamoto. He also drew a walk in the ninth inning, but was stranded at first base. While his .236 batting average has lagged a bit beneath his projections, he has a hit in 20 of his last 26 games since the calendar turned to April and will very likely wind up as one of the most productive run producers in the league when all is said and done this season.

Olson tagged Cardinals’ starter Andre Pallante for a 390-foot (102.8 mph EV) solo shot in the fifth inning that increased the Braves’ early lead to 4-2. That would wind up being the extent of their offense though, Olson also drew a walk in the ballgame, reaching base safely in two of his four plate appearances. On the season, the 31-year-old slugger is now hitting .238/.378/.438 with four long balls and 15 RBI.
