Jackson, who sprained his right ankle during Tuesday’s loss to the Spurs, will miss a game for the first time this season. Santi Aldama is the likely replacement, but his fantasy ceiling will be raised even if he comes off the bench.

Jackson is listed as doubtful with a right ankle sprain. The 26-year-old power forward isn’t expected to play, leaving the Grizzlies potentially without one of their best players. Jackson was in the midst of a down stretch anyway as his season averages to start the year are down from last year across the board. Santi Aldama could move into the starting lineup if Jackson is out on Thursday.

Tuesday’s game was the first for Memphis since losing Ja Morant to a strained calf, and Williams was head coach Tuomas Iisalo’s pick to move into the starting lineup. Result aside, this was a good night for the former second-round pick, who finished two rebounds and one assist shy of a triple-double. Williams only committed one turnover in his 30 minutes, which is especially concerning. On the heels of this performance, he’s worth picking up in deep leagues.

With Ja Morant (calf) out for at least two weeks, Spencer is one of the Grizzlies who will be asked to pick up the slack. The second-year guard had a good night in San Antonio, shooting 60 percent from the field and dishing out three assists. Spencer’s 24 minutes were the second-most among the Grizzlies’ reserves, which bodes well for his deep-league streaming potential. While he isn’t a must-add, keep an eye on Spencer.

Jackson had a decent night scoring-wise, but the lack of defensive stats is concerning for a player who has been a mediocre rebounder. Counting Tuesday, he’s averaging 1.3 blocks per game, and this would be the third straight season in which JJJ has averaged fewer than two if that were to hold. Not only has his value in redraft leagues been disappointing so far, but dynasty managers can’t be thrilled with Jackson, either.

Coward struggled in the first half, scoring just three points. The rookie was far better after halftime, finishing with his third double-double. Coward has hit double figures in scoring in six straight games, and he’s still providing top-100 value in nine-cat formats. He did not do much outside of points, rebounds and three-pointers on Tuesday, but the ability to change that is there with Ja Morant out for at least two weeks.

White didn’t have his best night shooting the basketball, as he continues to struggle in that regard. However, the all-around production is why he remains such a valuable player for category league managers. White recorded a complete stat line on Tuesday and has been a top-15 player over the past week. And he’s shot 44.2 percent from the field, which aligns with his career number (44.1). The shots will fall at a higher clip eventually, and fantasy managers can still receive solid value from White as they wait for that to happen.

After a two-game stretch in which he totaled 10 points on 4-of-17 shooting, Pritchard has scored at least 20 in three straight. During this three-game run, the Celtics guard has averaged 25.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 6.0 three-pointers while shooting 51.1 percent from the field and 90.9 percent from the foul line. That production has been good for top-20 value, so managers who may have panicked after that poor two-game stretch can calm down.

Brown led all scorers with 29 points and shot a respectable percentage, but the turnovers were an issue. He committed a season-high eight, one more than his tally in an October 24 loss to the Knicks. Brown is averaging a career-worst 3.5 turnovers per game through 15 games, which is why he’s barely hanging onto top-100 status in nine-cat formats. However, Brown has been more valuable by four rounds in eight-cat formats, sitting just outside the top-50, according to Basketball Monster.

As expected, Williams will start in place of Ja Morant, who is set to miss at least two weeks with a calf strain. Williams was really good as a starter two years ago for the Grizzlies but was injured for much of last season. Brown capped his seventh 30-point outing in 14 games with a two-handed slam in the closing seconds, putting metaphorical cherry on a dominant all-around performance. The 29-year-old franchise cornerstone poured in 16 points before halftime and finished with 17 more after the break, hoisting a season-high 33 shots in the process. He also grabbed double-digit boards for the first time this year to record his first double-double of the season. White helped Boston build a commanding lead early on with 15 points and seven rebounds in the opening half as the Celtics shot 49 percent (25-of-51) and 9-of-20 (45 percent) from three-point range during that span. He drilled a key three-pointer with just over one minute remaining and hit a pair of free throws with 7.8 ticks left to help Boston hold off a late rally from Los Angeles. The 31-year-old point guard has performed at a third-round level for fantasy purposes this season, averaging 16 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.3 blocks through 14 contests.

The 27-year-old guard has been inconsistent from deep this season, averaging 2.5 made threes per game after hitting 3.2 per game last year. Jackson led the Grizzlies in scoring, but it was a tough night for him. He had his worst shooting percentage of the season, but he was able to get to the free throw line often and have success from there. This was a new season-high for points, shot attempts and free throw attempts for Jackson.

Coward was initially listed as doubtful for this game, but he was able to play and make the first start of his career. It has been an excellent rookie year for him thus far, but his first start was underwhelming. He spent 24:32 on the court, which was actually the fewest minutes he has played since the third game of the season. For just the second time this season, Simons recorded a 20-point game, with the 25 matching his tally in an October 27 win over New Orleans. While Brown’s streak of 30-point games ended at three, he’s scored 28 or more in six of his last seven.
