The absences of Spencer and Hendricks leave the Grizzlies down two players who have provided solid late-round value for most of the season. On the perimeter, Javon Small and Walter Clayton Jr. will lead the way, and there may also be some more playmaking opportunities for Cedric Coward. As for the frontcourt, Hendricks’ absence makes the Grizzlies even more reliant on GG Jackson and Olivier-Maxence Prosper.

Clayton is on the injury report for Saturday’s game after playing 23 minutes off the bench in Friday’s loss to the Rockets. Memphis reportedly signed Adama Bal to a 10-day contract earlier Saturday, and he may play rotation minutes due to the Grizzlies’ injuries on the perimeter. However, he should not be streamed in any fantasy league.

Saturday’s game will be the third that Wells and Jerome have missed due to their respective injuries. Cedric Coward will continue to start for Wells, and he is worth rostering in deep leagues. Prosper came up big in the second half of this game, scoring 26 of his 31 points after the break. The 2023 first-round pick never figured things out in Dallas, but he has taken advantage of his second chance in Memphis. He has had multiple strong performances since becoming a consistent part of the rotation in Memphis, and he has been locked in as a starter since late February. He should continue to be a solid streaming option as the season comes to a close.

Spencer wasn’t the starter at point guard for this game, but he was certainly the most productive. This was his first double-double in over a month, and he was able to contribute value across the board. Unfortunately, while this was a strong outing, his role has been too inconsistent for him to be relied on. Managers should look in another direction for production, even if Spencer was solid in this game.

Miller has scored at least 21 points in three of his last four games, including Thursday’s win over the Knicks. While he didn’t record any defensive stats, the third-year wing has averaged just over one steal per game since the All-Star break. The Hornets have been a much-improved team since January 1, with Miller’s continued growth being one reason for the resurgence.

Ball’s improvement as a point guard is one of the reasons the Hornets still have a chance to avoid the play-in tournament altogether. He committed just one turnover against the Knicks and shot 50 percent from the field. And since the All-Star break, Ball has provided second-round value in eight-cat formats. The version of LaMelo that fantasy managers have seen in 2026 is the one they’ve been hoping to see for years.

The Rookie of the Year candidate shot 6-of-10 from beyond the arc against the Knicks and finished two assists shy of his first career triple-double. Jarreau made good use of his 15 minutes of action on Wednesday. Despite inefficient shooting, he converted enough field goals and free throws to set a new career-high in points. The former Houston Cougar was also active on the defensive end, leading to a career-best in steals. Jarreau isn’t someone fantasy managers should consider streaming during the fantasy playoffs. Yet, he’s had some decent production here down the stretch of the season.

Prosper’s strength on Wednesday was his three-point shooting; he tied a team high with makes, propelling him to the second-highest scoring total on the team. He grabbed a handful of rebounds but didn’t contribute to many other areas during his 25 minutes on the floor. Still, he was one of the Grizzlies’ top performers, and has now scored in double figures 11 times in March.

Jackson, once again, was one of Memphis’ better performers on Wednesday. Despite the blowout loss, he still logged 30 minutes and took advantage of his opportunities by shooting the ball efficiently, particularly from the three-point line. His work on the glass was solid, and his three stocks were helpful from a fantasy basketball lens. The Grizzlies are now officially eliminated from playoff contention following their loss to the Spurs, but that shouldn’t have much of an impact on Jackson’s outlook the rest of the way.

For the third time this season, White scored exactly 27 points in a game, which is his season high. After doing it in 23 minutes on Thursday, he only needed 18 minutes in this one. Before Saturday, Diabaté failed to hit double figures in points in nine consecutive games. He ended that streak against the Grizzlies, putting up 11 points on the night. And the 14 rebounds were the most in a game for Diabaté in just over two weeks, as he last hit that number on March 6 against the Heat. After having his highest-scoring game as a Hornet in Tuesday’s win, White surpassed that mark for a second straight game. Two games prior to this, Miller may have tweaked his right wrist in a game where he shot 2-of-14 from the floor.
