Watson wasn’t in the starting lineup Monday night, but he gave the Nuggets valuable minutes off the bench with Aaron Gordon (calf) unavailable. The third-year forward shot 4-of-4 from beyond the arc, and the 16 points were two shy of his season-high. This performance isn’t enough to get Watson on the radar in most fantasy leagues. Still, it should earn him another opportunity to play rotation minutes after recently falling behind Zeke Nnaji in the pecking order. Nnaji didn’t provide much value on Monday, going scoreless with three rebounds, three assists and one steal in 11 minutes.

After scoring 17 points on 6-of-17 shooting in Sunday’s loss to the Thunder, Murray redeemed himself in Monday’s rematch. The 34 points are the most he’s tallied in a game since Denver’s first game out of the All-Star break when Murray hit that number in a win over the Hornets. If Jokic’s right elbow was an issue for him on Monday, he certainly didn’t show it. The three-time MVP only missed five of his 20 field-goal attempts and was two assists shy of a triple-double. According to Basketball Monster, Jokic has been the top-ranked player in nine-cat formats over the past month, which surprises no one. Westbrook filled the void in the starting lineup left by Aaron Gordon, who sat out Monday’s game with a calf injury suffered on Sunday. And the veteran point guard had a solid night in Oklahoma City, shooting 60 percent from the field and 3-of-5 from beyond the arc. Add in the rebounds and assists, and this was a good night to have Westbrook rostered. Rostered in 65 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he has provided ninth-round value in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. Westbrook is worth rostering in 12-team leagues, especially if Gordon misses more time.

Booker has scored at least 24 points in his last three games. The 28-year-old shooting guard turned the ball over five times, which has been an issue lately. He’s had at least four turnovers in six of his last eight games while Booker has also had at least five assists in 13 of his last 14 games, both being a product of more time spent as an on-ball playmaker. Beal made good use of his opportunities on Sunday, but he’s the clear third option behind Devin Booker and Kevin Durant. That makes his efficiency even more critical, and Beal was good as both a scorer and playmaker on Sunday. However, rebounding has not been the issue for the Nuggets forward since the All-Star break, field-goal percentage has. Westbrook started the third quarter of Sunday’s game for Aaron Gordon, who exited during the first with a right calf injury. While the former MVP did not shoot the ball well, Westbrook did provide value in the rebound and assist categories. If Gordon cannot play against the Thunder on Monday, look for Westbrook to start and for Zeke Nnaji (three points, one rebound and one block in 23 minutes) to see more action off the bench. Nnaji would not be worth the streaming risk in most leagues.

Jokic had a tough afternoon from beyond the arc and at the foul line, and the problems may have begun after landing on his right elbow during the second quarter. The three-time MVP shot 2-of-10 from beyond the arc, including an 0-of-4 third quarter. After three consecutive games in which he scored just 17 points, Booker exploded on Friday night in Denver. He’s scored 30 points or more on three occasions since the All-Star break, but the assist production stands out. As one of the top 20 players in eight-cat formats, Booker has averaged 8.0 assists per game since the break. After aggravating a prior calf injury during Tuesday’s win over the Clippers, Beal offered limited value in Friday’s overtime defeat. On a night when Nikola Jokic made history, Murray performed well in the Nuggets’ overtime victory. The points, assists and steals were solid, and the Nuggets point guard only committed one turnover. Since the All-Star break, Murray has provided top-20 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. As a result of this surge, he’s a top-25 player for the season. Since his Yahoo! If Jokic’s performance against the Suns wasn’t the greatest in NBA history, it’s pretty high on the list at the very least. The Nuggets center became the first player in league history to record at least 30 points, 20 rebounds and 20 assists, and his 22 helpers were a career-best. Jokic now has seven games with at least 15 points, 15 rebounds and 15 assists in a season, tied with Oscar Robertson during the 1961-62 campaign for the most in league history. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander may be the betting favorite for Most Valuable Player, but what Jokic has done this season (average a triple-double) has been unprecedented for a center. Phoenix trailed by 19 points entering the fourth quarter, and Durant only had 15 points. However, he nearly outscored the Clippers in the fourth to lead the Suns to a much-needed comeback win. Phoenix is now currently only three games out of the Play-In Tournament, but with Kyrie Irving (knee) done for the season, Dallas will likely fall out of that spot. 12 of Gillespie’s 15 minutes came in the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s win, and that’s when he made his mark. All of his stats except one assist came in the final frame as he helped the Suns outscore the Clippers 43-22 in the fourth. Gillespie took on a larger role after Bradley Beal (groin) exited early, and his heroics ended up giving Phoenix the win. Gillespie knocked down a massive three-pointer late in the fourth that gave them a five-point lead late that they never relinquished.
