Williams spent time with the Rockets over the last few seasons and actually signed a four-year deal with them last March. However, he was waived over the summer and has been playing this season with the Long Island Nets. Williams went undrafted in 2022 and hasn’t been able to stick around with a team since then, but he’ll get the chance to establish himself with Golden State, though he will likely spend most of his time in the G League.

Moody enters the All-Star break having scored at least 15 points in three consecutive games. However, the lackluster production outside of points, three-pointers and rebounds limits his fantasy ceiling. Over the past two weeks, Moody has been a 12th-round player in eight-cat formats. Because the Warriors have been without Stephen Curry, there’s been more room for Moody to score. However, with Curry expected back immediately after the All-Star break, Moody’s rostership (18 percent, Yahoo!) may decrease.

Melton’s stat line on Wednesday was evidence of why he can be valuable to fantasy managers, even with the lack of defensive stats. The Warriors guard made five of his six three-point attempts and provided solid value in the rebounds and assist categories as well. Over the past two weeks, Melton has provided 10th-round value in eight-cat formats. Stephen Curry’s expected return after the All-Star break should not do much, if any, harm to Melton’s prospects in category leagues.

Green put forth one of his better performances this season on Wednesday, finishing two assists shy of a triple-double. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, nights like Wednesday have not been the norm for the veteran forward, and that isn’t considering the points category. Entering the season with an ADP of 100, Green heads into the All-Star break ranked just inside the top-150 in eight-cat formats. Hopefully, getting Stephen Curry and Kristaps Porziņǵis into the rotation after the break will enhance Green’s value by extension.

This was the second time in their last three games that Mashack started for the Grizzlies. The former Tennessee Volunteer was drafted late in the second round this past summer, and after not seeing much time to start his career, he has taken on a larger role over the last five games. The scoring has been inconsistent, but his elite defense in college has transferred over; he has at least two steals in each of his last five games and is averaging 3.2 swipes during this stretch.

The Grizzlies won’t have Cedric Coward for Wednesday’s game, which opens a spot in the starting lineup. Mashack, the 59th overall pick in the 2025 draft, will fill the resulting void. While starting gives him a good opportunity, the rookie is not a must-stream player.

Richard was also questionable ahead of Monday’s win over the Grizzlies, a game in which he would play 15 minutes. However, the rookie is not healthy enough to play on Wednesday, freeing up minutes on the back end of the Warriors’ rotation. Richard’s absence won’t affect fantasy basketball.

Melton suffered a gluteal contusion during Monday’s win over the Grizzlies. He recently moved into the starting lineup, so the Warriors would have a gap to account for if he can’t play. Brandin Podziemski could return to the starting lineup in that scenario, which would raise his fantasy ceiling.

Pippen played 20 minutes off the bench on Monday, two fewer than his season debut against the Trail Blazers on Friday. However, like teammate Ty Jerome, the minutes restriction did not prohibit Pippen from providing solid value in multiple categories, including assists and steals. That could be the Grizzlies’ course of action if Coward can’t play in Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.

After totaling 11 points and six rebounds in his first two appearances as a Grizzly, Hendricks had one of his best games of the season on Monday. Recording his first double-double, the 6-foot-9 forward recorded a season-high 10 boards. And the 15 points were the most in a game for Hendricks since December 23, when he dropped 21 on the Grizzlies while still with the Jazz. With Santi Aldama (knee) out, there’s more room for Hendricks within the rotation, even if he isn’t a true center. There may be some deep-league value to be had during the silly season because of Hendricks’ defensive potential.

Despite still being under a minutes limit, Jerome has been a valuable fantasy option when available. He’s scored at least 19 points in four of his five appearances this season, shooting 56.7 percent from the field. With the Grizzlies only playing once more before the All-Star break, Wednesday against the Nuggets, availability should not be an issue for Jerome. So even if Jerome remains capped at 20 minutes, he’s more than capable of providing reliable fantasy value.

While Horford came off the bench, he was in the game when the Warriors rallied to pick up the victory. After corralling his own missed shot, Horford’s assist to Gui Santos with 19.4 seconds remaining while sitting on the court capped a game-ending 19-5 run. After totaling 20 points in his prior three appearances, Green shot the ball well and reached double figures on Monday. The last time he reached double figures, a January 30 loss to the Pistons, was also the last time the veteran forward made four three-pointers in a game. The lone negative for Green managers on Monday was the turnover count, as he recorded seven, one shy of his season high. While he wasn’t much of a factor in the Warriors’ 19-5 run to end Monday’s comeback victory, Podziemski was one of seven to reach double figures. For those wondering what the Grizzlies would do at the center position without Santi Aldama, the answer for their two games in Portland was to go small. Due to the Grizzlies being light on perimeter bodies, Saturday was a night where Small was able to get an extended runout. Limited to 13 minutes in Thursday’s win over the Suns due to an illness, Podziemski played 33 off the bench on Saturday. The final stat line was solid, but most encouraging was the playing time.
