The third-year forward was one of six Memphis players to score in double figures on Wednesday. And although his scoring came on inefficient shooting, he came up big with nine points in the final frame to help the Grizzlies to a seven-point win. The late scoring also led Jackson to extend his streak of double-digit scoring games to 14, which he’ll have a chance to push to 15 games on Friday against the Celtics. His involvement shouldn’t change down the stretch of the regular season.

Despite not shooting the ball well, Coward managed some decent production in his 25 minutes. The low shooting efficiency was offset by frequent, accurate free-throw shooting and good overall production on the glass. Coward has now scored in double figures in five of his last six appearances. With the Grizzlies’ postseason hopes dwindling, it’s likely they continue to put the ball in his hands and give him opportunities.

In his first game back from a shoulder injury, Jerome helped lead the Grizzlies to a nice victory over the Nuggets. In his 25 minutes on the floor, he had a big scoring impact from the three-point line, but was also Memphis’ most productive rebounder and passer on the evening. His well-rounded performance nearly led to a triple-double. Nonetheless, Jerome’s final line was an impressive one, especially considering how few minutes he logged.

Gafford was available on Wednesday after a three-game absence, but he did not return to the starting lineup. The Mavericks’ center was used in a reserve role, and he put up a season-high 24 points. Gafford has scored at least 20 points in three of his last four games, and he’s provided eighth-round value in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. Gafford’s availability issues are why he’s rostered in just 23 percent of Yahoo! leagues, but he’s capable of having excellent nights like Wednesday.
DAL • Small Forward • #

At first glance, Flagg put up a solid stat line in Wednesday’s defeat. However, he was pestered by Dyson Daniels throughout the night, which negatively affected the rookie’s efficiency. In addition to shooting 40 percent from the field, Flagg was responsible for a season-high six turnovers. Nights like Wednesday have been few and far between for Flagg, and there aren’t many defenders in the NBA as good as Daniels. He’ll look to bounce back on Saturday against the Clippers.

Washington has reached double figures in each of his last four games, with the 23 points being the most he’s scored in nearly a month. Rostered in 40 percent of Yahoo! leagues, the veteran forward has been an 11th-round player in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. That isn’t great fantasy value, but it’s good enough to keep Washington on the radar in 12-team leagues.

Washington had a solid night’s worth of production on Monday, as he shot efficiently from the floor on relatively limited shot attempts. He still converted over half of his looks to fall just short of the 20-point mark and tied a team-high in made three-pointers. There was nothing spectacular about Washington’s numbers from a fantasy standpoint, but he had a decent final line, all things considered.

Flagg put together another balanced performance on Monday. In the loss, he shot the ball fairly well from the field before finishing as one of two Mavericks to score at least 20 points, and led all Dallas players in rebounds in the process. The do-it-all rookie forward was also productive as a passer against the Pelicans before the final horn sounded. Add in his three stocks, and he comes away with a productive night from a fantasy standpoint.

Marshall led all scores in Monday’s Mavericks-Pelicans matchup, as he finished with a season-high in shot attempts. He reached the 30-point mark for the sixth time this season and also came up just a couple of rebounds and a few assists shy of a triple-double. Marshall has taken a big step on the offensive end this season in what’s been a career-best year for him. There’s no reason for fantasy managers to expect a role change or sudden dip in production down the stretch of the season.

After a three-game absence due to an ankle injury, Clayton was thrust into the Grizzlies’ starting lineup, filling in for Ty Jerome. While the rookie played only 25 minutes, he still produced respectable numbers in points and assists. As with Cedric Coward, Wells’ reduced playing time could prove problematic during the fantasy playoff weeks. He logged 23 minutes on Monday and has exceeded 30 minutes just twice since the All-Star break. For the first time in over a month, Coward has played in consecutive games. While the rookie had a good night in Chicago, the combination of availability and playing time has eliminated most of his fantasy value.
