Pippen played 20 minutes off the bench on Monday, two fewer than his season debut against the Trail Blazers on Friday. However, like teammate Ty Jerome, the minutes restriction did not prohibit Pippen from providing solid value in multiple categories, including assists and steals. With Cedric Coward (knee) not returning for the second half, Pippen replaced him in the lineup. That could be the Grizzlies’ course of action if Coward can’t play in Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.

After totaling 11 points and six rebounds in his first two appearances as a Grizzly, Hendricks had one of his best games of the season on Monday. Recording his first double-double, the 6-foot-9 forward recorded a season-high 10 boards. And the 15 points were the most in a game for Hendricks since December 23, when he dropped 21 on the Grizzlies while still with the Jazz. With Santi Aldama (knee) out, there’s more room for Hendricks within the rotation, even if he isn’t a true center. There may be some deep-league value to be had during the silly season because of Hendricks’ defensive potential.

Despite still being under a minutes limit, Jerome has been a valuable fantasy option when available. He’s scored at least 19 points in four of his five appearances this season, shooting 56.7 percent from the field. With the Grizzlies only playing once more before the All-Star break, Wednesday against the Nuggets, availability should not be an issue for Jerome. So even if Jerome remains capped at 20 minutes, he’s more than capable of providing reliable fantasy value.

Dosunmu scored 11 points in his debut for Minnesota on Sunday, and 24 hours after, he was able to showcase why he’ll make a big difference for the Timberwolves this season. He’s an excellent depth guard, especially on the defensive end, but it was the offensive impact in this game that was impressive. Dosunmu should be the primary guard option off the bench, which should lead to some decent production for fantasy managers, though his upside will be capped as a reserve.

For the third time this season, and the first time since early November, Randle was able to record a triple-double. Minnesota is now 3-0 in those games. Randle has been fantastic all season, though he has had a few subpar performances recently. That didn’t hold true in this one, and he even contributed on the defensive end by snapping a four-game streak without a steal. Randle will look to carry this into Wednesday’s matchup with the Trail Blazers.

After being held to 23 points in Minnesota’s last game, Edwards was able to get back on track by scoring 30 points for the fifth time in his last six games. He has enjoyed the best scoring season of his career. It isn’t often that teams are able to slow him down, and it certainly doesn’t happen in two consecutive games. They’ll host Portland on Wednesday in what will be their final game before the All-Star break; Edwards scored 41 points the last time they played the Trail Blazers, which was in the season opener.

As expected, Dosunmu was part of the Timberwolves’ bench rotation in his first appearance on Sunday. And his 25 minutes led the Timberwolves reserves, one more than Naz Reid. Things could change somewhat once the Timberwolves re-sign Mike Conley, but Ayo should not struggle for playing time. Unfortunately, not much has changed regarding his fantasy value. For those wondering what the Grizzlies would do at the center position without Santi Aldama, the answer for their two games in Portland was to go small. After sitting out Friday’s defeat, Anderson was tabbed to serve as the starting center on Saturday, and he recorded a nice stat line. Hendricks played 21 minutes in both of Memphis’ games in Portland. While the production wasn’t great, the playing time was there, unlike in Utah pre-trade. Due to the Grizzlies being light on perimeter bodies, Saturday was a night where Small was able to get an extended runout. And the rookie guard took advantage of his time, shooting 70 percent from the field and providing solid value in the rebound and assist categories. Small played a lot of his minutes alongside Walter Clayton Jr. (8/4/7/3 in 28 minutes) in Memphis’ two games in Portland, and that may be the case moving forward on nights when the two-way guard is active.
