Clayton Jr. will likely sit out a third straight game, but Ty Jerome and Cam Spencer are available after sitting out Thursday. Jerome and Spencer should pick up the slack in the backcourt, and Javon Small could earn some meaningful rotation minutes.

Aldama will sit out again, and he has no timeline to return to the court. In his absence, Olivier-Maxence Prosper should remain with the starting five. Taj Gibson (conditioning) could see a couple of minutes if he’s available, but his role will be negligible at best.

Both players appeared in Thursday’s loss to the Mavericks, and both could end up sitting out the second leg of Memphis’ back-to-back set. If Jackson and Wells sit this one out, Cedric Coward and Taylor Hendricks could earn some additional run.

Spencer and Jerome were two of the numerous Grizzlies who sat out Thursday’s matchup with Dallas, but they should handle their typical workloads against Detroit. Javon Small and Jahmai Mashack could see fewer minutes with Spencer and Jerome available.

Sochan’s late addition to the injury report don’t bode well for his availability. An absence for Sochan could mean more playing time for Mo Diawara, and Diawara would be worth streaming if Josh Hart or Karl-Anthony Towns also sit out.

Having missed the Grizzlies’ last three games with sesamoiditis in his right great toe, Pippen will now undergo a season-ending sesamoidectomy to address the issue. He underwent a similar procedure in October, which delayed the guard’s season debut until early February. Pippen only appeared in ten games this season, finishing with averages of 11.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.0 three-pointers in 21.2 minutes. With Ty Jerome having recently missed some games, Javon Small and Cam Spencer will have added fantasy value for the rest of this season.

Small was one of Memphis’ most productive players on Thursday. He fell just one point and one assist shy of a 20/10 double-double, and also finished as one of the Grizzlies’ most reliable three-point shooters on the evening. The rookie guard is now averaging 16.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 6.3 assists over his last three games. He’ll have a chance to land another strong performance on Friday against the Pistons.

Jackson extended his streak of double-digit scoring performances to 13 games on Thursday, with efficient shooting leading him to finish as one of two Grizzlies with at least 20 points. He missed a couple at the line and was cold from beyond the arc, however, leaving some points on the floor. Jackson hasn’t consistently contributed in many other ways of late, but has shown the potential to be a good rebounder. He’ll likely remain one of the Grizzlies’ key contributors down the stretch of the season.

Wells was active on both ends of the floor on Thursday. On offense, he was primarily a scorer, using the free-throw line and strong efficiency both inside and outside the arc to land good scoring production. He recorded a few stocks on the defensive end to boost his fantasy production before finishing with a solid final line in the loss. Wells continues to shoot the three-pointer well in his minutes. He shouldn’t be considered much more than a streaming option.

Wells and Prosper are the only holdovers in the Grizzlies’ starting lineup. Due to a host of absences, Small and Rupert will start, while Jackson is back in the lineup after coming off the bench in Tuesday’s loss to the 76ers. GG has replaced Taylor Hendricks, who will come off the bench.

Coward is one of many Grizzlies rotation players who have been ruled out for Thursday’s game. His absence means more playing time for Rayan Rupert and Jahmai Mashack.

Spencer will join Ty Jerome, Scotty Pippen Jr. and Walter Clayton Jr. on the sidelines for this game, leaving Javon Small as the only healthy point guard option for Memphis. He should play a massive role, which should lead to plenty of production.

Clayton will miss a second straight game with this ankle injury, leaving Memphis incredibly shorthanded at point guard. Javon Small will be the only active point guard for the Grizzlies, meaning he should be productive in a massive role.

Jerome was initially listed as doubtful, so his absence isn’t surprising. Javon Small will be the only healthy point guard available for Memphis in this game and should be in for a big night while playing big minutes.

The Pacers don’t play a traditional center apart from Jay Huff, and they have been resting a lot of their players lately, so the Knicks may be trying to give Towns a rest day before their Sunday game against the Warriors. If Towns were to miss this game, Mitchell Robinson would likely start, and Mo Diawara would play more minutes as a small-ball center.

The Pacers are certainly not trying to win many games right now, but neither were the Jazz, and they were up on the Knicks for a while on Wednesday. If Hart sits out on Friday, the Knicks will again turn to Landry Shamet for a bigger role with Jordan Clarkson playing around 25 minutes, as he did against the Jazz when he scored 27 points and grabbed five rebounds.

Anunoby, who shot 70 percent from the field on Wednesday, has scored at least 22 points in three of his last four appearances. While he did record a complete stat line against the Jazz, his numbers were limited beyond points and three-pointers. The Knicks still have two more games in Week 20, starting with the Pacers on Friday. And with the schedule easing up a bit, fantasy managers will hope for more robust stat lines from Anunoby.

For the first time this season, Towns has recorded seven assists or more in consecutive games. And KAT has been excellent since the All-Star break, providing first-round value in 12-team, eight-cat formats. While a few other Knicks have battled inconsistency since the break, that has not been an issue for Towns, much to the delight of managers who have him on their fantasy rosters.

Like many of his teammates, Brunson started slowly on Wednesday. However, he turned things around in the second half, shooting 6-of-8 from the field and scoring 18 points. Brunson also recorded six assists after halftime as the Knicks avoided what would have been an embarrassing defeat. The Knicks play two more games in Week 20, starting with the Pacers on Friday.

Clarkson’s return to Utah was a special one, as the veteran guard gave the Knicks much-needed production off the bench. With Josh Hart (knee) unavailable and New York getting off to a terrible start, JC came through with his most productive performance of the season. The 27 points were a season-high for Clarkson, who also put up solid numbers in rebounds, assists, three-pointers and percentages. One game does not make him a player to add in fantasy leagues, but it may ensure Clarkson of another opportunity the next time the Knicks play.

The Knicks won’t have Josh Hart for Wednesday’s game, as he’s been ruled out with a knee injury. Shamet moves into the starting lineup, and he’s a solid streaming option for fantasy managers who need three-point production.
