Sensabaugh scored at least 20 points for the third time in Utah’s last four games. While he hasn’t done much else consistently, he has proven to be an effective scorer throughout his first three seasons in the NBA. With Lauri Markkanen (hip) set to miss at least two weeks, Sensabaugh’s offense off the bench will be vital for the Jazz. Expect him to have more big performances down the stretch.

After being held to four points in Monday’s loss, Bailey got back on track in this one. This was the second-highest scoring outing of his career, surpassed only by his 25-point game against the Spurs last month. With Lauri Markkanen (hip) set to miss at least two weeks, Bailey should be the focal point of the offense for Utah, which should lead to more outings like this one.

Konchar got the starting nod with Lauri Markkanen (hip) set to miss at least two weeks. He continued to not provide much production, outside of steals. He is averaging 3.8 steals over his last four games and should continue to provide plenty of swipes. However, managers that need more than that should be cautious about rostering him, even if he’s starting.

Markkanen injured his hip and ankle in practice on Wednesday, but it’s the hip that will force him to miss time. He underwent an MRI that “showed symptomatic hip impingement with associated inflammation and bone bruise.” He’ll miss at least eight games, though he could certainly remain out longer. John Konchar is starting in his place on Thursday.

With Lauri Markkanen set to miss some time with ankle and hip injuries, Konchar will replace him in the starting unit. This will be his second start with the Jazz, with the other coming in his return to Memphis, where he finished with six points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals in 31 minutes. He has 10 steals over his last three games, but he can’t be relied on for much else.

It’s also possible that Markkanen will miss the remainder of the season following injuries suffered in practice this week. However, the NBA is allegedly set to send an independent doctor to review Markkanen’s MRI results to ensure the severity of the injury. Small, the 48th overall pick in last June’s draft, made his first career start on Wednesday. And the Grizzlies’ guard had a good night, shooting 75 percent from the field and not committing any turnovers in his 28 minutes. Having appeared in 24 games, Small should have the space needed to avoid running up against the 50-game limit for two-way players before the end of the season. There are better options for fantasy managers, most notably Ty Jerome, but Small is worth watching for dynasty league managers seeking some value in deep leagues.
